Jergens - (Deer open, Human open)
Faith - (Deer open, Human open)
The boy shrugged, and sipped
Meeting the others eyes again, with his pink ones, he offered a quiet smile. "I'm very rarely wrong about these things... But of COURSE you can see the house first. And Lyric, if he's awake. He should be in the art room... but if he's not, I can always find him."
He gave the other a grin. "Oh, you have NO idea how happy I am that you're even considering this! We need someone there SO badly... and you are such a wonderful person for even taking this into thought. I know it's sudden, but... I just... I trust you." he finished lamely, blushing as he drank some more soup.
Rev~ "I still don't know...
"I still don't know... he muttered, gulping down the last of his own broth before handing his cup back. "If yew think ya can trust me, guess I got no choice. Might be a nice change, anyway, y'know?" he paused, scrunching up his nose as he quickly hid his face in his elbow to sneeze.
"Wonderful person? Nahh... I could just use a break from the rat race, I guess." he shrugged, slowly getting up to his feet to stretch.
"Who wouldn't?"
"THAT sentiment is all too
He canted his head to the side. "It's back that way from here, and it's a long walk.. so whenever you'd like to leave would be just fine with me. OH!" He smiled again. "I know a doctor. He lives on the way. If you want... he could probably give you something for those sniffles you've got."
Pulling his pack over, he capped what was left of the soup with HIS cap - topping off Jergens' cap as he did so. He twisted it closed, and gave the boy a wide grin. "I love having this pack. It's got a lot of room. If you want to carry the sweater and blanket, it's fine - but I can shove it back in here for the walk if you'd like. It's pretty heavy afterall."
The honey-brown-haired boy stretched his arms, and yawned. "Besides... there's more blankets and stuff at home - as well as a dinner that should be being prepared if that soup's not exactly enough. Which I would assume it wouldn't be. I also remember hearing something about homemade chocolate cake and hot cocoa for after dinner."
Rev~ The curly-haired man
The curly-haired man couldn't agree more, really. People sucked... at least most of them did. "Heh, yeah... cept my days are usually pretty crappy." another cheery (though teary-eyed) smile. "I've just learned to look on the sunny side, I guess... hard as it is."
A long walk? Ah well... Jergens walked around all the time, so it wasn't like it would hurt him any. Still, it was pretty cold. Before he grabbed the offer of more soup, he put of the sweater that had been so kindly given to him, as well as tying two corners of the blanket around his neck of that his could wrap ir around him much like a makeshift cloak to keep him warm. "Unless ya still have buisness here, I'm game." he stretched his back, popping his spine a bit. "And I'm fine. I mean, thanks fer the offer, but it's just allergies. Nothing a good box of tissues won't solve, right?" he offered him another grin, gratefully taking the soup with one hand further closing his makeshift coat with the other.
Of course the thought had occured to him that this could all be a scam. Hell, he had been through soom of them himself... It wasn't at all surprising that he kept his guard up, cynical person that he was.
"Lead the way, man~"
Revtheyr rose, and started
After a bit of walking, he stopped at a small shop. "This is where I get all my clothes and such... You can understand my need for custom-tailored items, yeah?" He chuckled. "Last thing I need is my shirts getting caught on my 'head accouterments' as I try and get dressed."
He pointed out another shop. They were getting close to White Forest states by the looks of the places.
"This is a stellar tea-and-cake shop. Nnn... I'm sorry, I have a love for cake. I swear it's going to kill me someday. I'd be the size of a house if it wasn't for the way I dance, as well as my metabolism. The shop next to it is owned by a friend. She sells flowers for a living, but makes one MEAN guardian if anything bugs you. She's always a good listener. And fiercely protective."
He jogged a bit further, and took the right fork when the path diverged. The left fork led toward the rest of downtown, and he wasn't going that direction.
As they got nearer to the house, the scenery turned foresty. It was also near a wide body of water that looked beautiful from here. Complete with a private beach... and a HUGE house. The thing had two floors, and many rooms. Lots of windows to let in light. No cars, since there was no driveway. Rev and Cell walked everywhere.
And there was the front porch - screened in, decorated, and all.
"Well.. this is the place... What do you think?"
"I wouldn't talk about being
She glared at him, and for a moment, her eyes darkened in colour. She had upped the pain in his arm a little bit. "If I catch a cold it's on your head, you're the reason that I stopped running home, aren't you?" She asked darkly. She didn't like this man very much. He seemed too...well there was vastly too cocky. But there was something off, poor people didn't make fun of poor people. It just didn't make sense.

Rev~ The redhead certainly
The redhead certainly didn't say much, simply taking in the view all round him with a sort of perplexive look on his face. "Wow..." he breathed, taking it all in with a sort of awe-filled grin. What a nice neighborhood... Nicer than most anything he had seen besides Fai...
...
He simply listened to the boy's words, and kept on following, clutching the blanket round his shoulders as he followed the boy closer and closer to a new potential home...
Though when he saw it, he literally felt a large sort of lump form in his scratchy throat.
The house... mansion... it looked so much like the Bartleby estate... his previous home...
Involuntarily, a few emotionally driven tears mixed themselves with allergy-inflicted ones at the corners of his eyes, and he could only utter a simple "It's nice..." without choking up...

Mick~
"Yer right." he smirked, crossing his arms to hide how much one of them was shaking, doing his best to hide it, voice staying as cracked and raspy as before. "Just tryin' to shed some light... heh. If anythin' I'm pretty sure that yer highern' me on the totem pole..." he smiled, acting out a relaxed sigh to make him seem as if he were at ease.
Not so, of course. His arm hurt pretty bad...
"How am I the reason? Just cause I talked dosen't mean that yew should listen, y'know? Yew can leave right now, if ya want. Not like I'm keepin' ya down." he shrugged, and kept that cocky smile on his face.
Rev noticed that his new
"... Are you okay?" he asked quietly. "Does this remind you of something sad? Are you in pain? What's wrong?"
The boy was nothing if not compassionate... it hurt him to see his new friend in tears, and have no idea of the cause of such grief. He WANTED to throw his arms around him, and hug him until he stopped crying... But that might be a little inappropriate.
"Can I get you something? A drink of water? I think we've got sweets in the house if you want a cookie or something to munch on...."
He offered him a soft, reassuring smile. "It's okay to cry - but know that nothing's going to hurt you here, okay?" he said, handing over one of the tissues. "So please.. cheer up? I don't know why you're crying, but... Is it my fault?"
The idea that it might be was a bit disheartening to say the least. However, Rev could think of nothing he'd actually done WRONG to hurt the other in such a way as to cause tears.
She wasn't sure how to react,
She upped the pain in his arm even more, now cutting the blood off for two seconds at a time at thirty second intervals. She knew how much this would sting, particularly since she was fixing the pain receptors so that they wouldn't die, or numb. The pain wouldn't stop unless she wanted it to, and she knew that it could get a lot worse. She just wanted the stupid grin off of his face. Now it was a challenge to her, and she had always wanted to win challenges.

Rev~
In an awkward attempt to look manly, the man simply balled his hand into a fist and rubbed the corners of his eyes, a shaky sigh managing to escape him, poorly concealed.
"Naw, it ain't yer fault..." he mumbled, keeping his gaze to the ground.
"It's just..." he paused, wondering how to exactly word it all.
"Yeah... first one ya said..." that it reminded him of something sad.
He shook his head, and offered a cheery grin.
"I'm fine. Don't worry~"

Mick~
"It's yer choice to listen to me or not. If I talk, does that mean there's some bullshit rule that ya have to listen to me? No, yew can only blame yerself fer standin' there like a friggen moron." he offered another pained grin, though it faltered when he felt his arm becoming more and more pained.
"Hn... arm kinda hurts..." he mused, still smiling, though it was obviously forced. The grin of someone not mentally well.
"Yes, I was wondering if you

"Hey... don't worry about
He grinned, and picked up his things again, leading the man to the front door, and opening it. It wasn't locked. Which just went to show that the boy was either forgetful... or very trusting. He led him toward the kitchen, and helped him sit down, wrapping another blanket around his shoulders, and studying the pantry shelves as he thought.
"Let's see... we have some chocolate cake mix... hot cocoa I could make.." rummaging around finally brought him to the fridge, where his eyes lit up. "What luck! We have a nice Boston creme pie right here. Cell must have made it before he went to sleep last night... Do you want a piece?"
Even if the other didn't, Rev was going to cut up the pie, and have some himself. He DID so love a nice pie. And so he did that, waiting for the other to answer whether or not he wanted a piece. Of course - even if he didn't... Rev would find something he'd eat. It was rude to eat in front of people anyway, unless they had something as well.
