I think that'd fit Her best. If not, you can just throw her in somewhere, or not at all. C: I just love seeing how people see my beloved deer; few can get her pirate-self captured along with her obsessive hopping and running. I'd love to read your story whether you decide to squeeze her in or not, so I won't bawl my eyes out if she's not. <3 It sounds very good!

As for a title, if it hasn't been mentioned, try "Lost and Found" or something along those lines. I may have gotten the synopsis wrong so if it doesn't fit, again, throw it out the window. I'm not feeling so creative writing-wise right now so it's probably too generic; even my own writing is turning crummier as I go, but that's enough about me.

With the predator, I firstly thought humans, but I doubt that'd fit. Owl also came into mind but they obviously don't eat deer unless you make yours giant-sized and extra evil. Panther sounds best to me, though. I've yet to see a feline in a story.

after thinking about it, i think Vessel could work better as one of the "elder" stags that councils Quad on his journey (or whatever it was ^^; ) somehow i think it would work, because usually when you have characters like that, one of them should be a little negative (and Vessel's reeeaaaally good at that XD) it was an idea, but if you dont think he's fit for that role, then thats fine too

Sure Silent isn't really old but as his bio states he spends quite a bit of time observing how the forest works and such. So unless someone more suitable comes along can he be one of the Elders?

For the thing that attacks... Maybe a grizzly? Or some other type of bear.

Mountain lions also prey on deer.

Technically, that would be a black leopard or black jaguar.
But I support the idea. =]

I'd love for Laruna to be in your story, but only if you have room for him.

Since you mentioned before that the "elder" deer don't necessarily have to be old, would Magnet work as the third one? He spent his fawnhood mostly observing in the forest (and still does at times), so he may be wise enough now.
Otherwise, my deer could just go at the end of the story. =]
