Skokey

His name means: "Skull" in an ancient forest language
Title: The Butterfly Stag
Age: Older

Appearance: Solid black fur with monarch markings. His fur is longer, making him look a little furry. His mask is golden and wooden, with the left wing missing from a gunshot. He either wears the Key Antlers or Poppies. He has an average build for a deer. His eyes are a dull hazel. His age is making him slower and his bones a little more creaky.

About Skokey: He was abandoned just after being born. An old stag named Siki ("circle" in the old forest language) found him and took him in. He was named after Siki's father. He grew up, then made friends with Fenqua, his future mate. When he reached adolescence, he met his mother for the first time, and saw that she had a daughter. Seeing that she kept the daughter but not him, he spiraled into a deep depression. After months of starving himself, he decided to commit suicide. Fenqua found him just in time to stop him, and brought him back to health. Soon after, they confessed their love. They had twins together, Faytha and Fenkovan.
They grew old together and watched their children grow. Fenqua was caught in a fight and killed. Fenkovan soon ran away. Though it caused Skokey great pain, he didn't take it as bad as he would have if he was younger. It has hardened him, though. It takes more to make him have fun, and he's much quieter.
He doesn't have that much history.

Fulu

Her name means: "Flower" in an ancient forest language.
Title: The Bird Caller
Age: Older

Appearance: She has shining white fur with brilliant secretary bird markings. Her mask is that of a blackbird, though slightly faded with age. Her feathers are full and green, but are also starting to fade and thin out with age. She's rather small and thin, making her look elegant. Her eyes are a shiny black. Her age is making her slower, like Skokey.

About Fulu: She was born to the same mother as Skokey, but not abandoned. She was raised normally. After meeting her brother for the first time, she desperately wanted to see him again, but he had disappeared in his depression. All the while, she grew to be slightly detached and odd. When she reached her adolescence, her mother had caught pneumonia, and died. She went to Skokey to live with him until she grew old enough to live on her own.
When she finally became independent, she met a stag named Darcy. They courted, and fell in love. It didn't last long, though. A past friend of Darcy's, Wyvern, came back from her journey and mass confusion ensued. It took weeks before anything happened. Fulu finally decided that she had enough of it. All the while, Wyvern's brother Zilant appeared and helped Fulu feel better about the whole thing. It didn't take long before she found love again, and soon, Zilant and Fulu became mates.
After seeing her brother have children, she wanted children of her own. It took work, but soon she had a daughter, and named her Kailani. Kailani started out like any other fawn, but when she became older, she became rebellious. As more time passed, Kailani grew more and more distant from her mother. After a while, Kailani hated her. Fulu was deeply confused and hurt, trying her best to fix the problem, but nothing seemed to work. Kailani was mixed up in a tangle of unrequited love and hate. She went missing for a while. Later she was found dead.
The death of their daughter deeply saddened Zilant, but it seemed to lift some weight from Fulu. But the entire experience left her heart closed to most except her mate and brother. Months passed, and after a while, she came across a heart-broken young stag. She helped him out, gave him advice. After that, she learned he had no parents. It didn't take long for them to become friends, and soon, she adopted her new son Corvus and his sister Leara. It's made her considerably happier, and as hard as her life was, she thinks it's finally turned around.

Vessel

His name means: An empty object used for holding liquid, like a jar or barrel
Title: The Dream Watcher

Appearance: His fur is tan with a red stripe down each side, a little thin and shaggy and dull. He has two large blue jewels embedded into his shoulders, one on each side, inherited from his father's Kirin Pelt. His antlers are the Butterfly Antlers, seemingly made out of shining ivory. He has no mask. His nose is longer and straight, making his face a bit longer. His eyes are completely blank, without irises or pupils, but he can see perfectly. An M mark stretches from each side of his jaw, bends around his eyes, and meets together just above the tip of his nose. He has a thin build and very long legs, making him abnormally tall among other deer. He is mute.

About Vessel: Vessel was born to proud, haughty parents. When they found that he had no voice, they abandoned him. He grew up all alone, being taught by the Twin Gods as if they were his parents. He was given the power to enter the dream world at night and watch others' dreams, but the price was that he could not dream himself. Knowing only the life of loneliness, he was very reluctant to show himself in the open when he was full grown. After much hesitation, he finally met very patient deer, and they became his friends.
He enjoyed his new life, but found that something was missing. He had become very close with Skokey and his mate Fenqua. He later realized that he was still lonely. And that was when he met Xylia.
But Xylia was also being courted by another, Lorak. It took some time, but just when Vessel was about done trying to prove his worth, Xylia chose him over Lorak. He felt awful and wonderful at the same time, gaining the love of his life, but sending the other stag into a spiraling depression.
After a while, everything calmed down. Vessel continued to watch dreams from afar, now knowing that someone would be beside him when he returned to his sleeping body. After a long while, Xylia found that she was pregnant. After a bloody and terrifying delivery, their first son was born, Chanse. Chanse grew so well that Vessel felt normal at last, as if he had never grown up in solitude. Though his speaking or lack thereof was a minor roadblock in raising his child, it didn't put up much trouble. Xylia became pregnant again and gave birth to their second son normally, Ketan.
Vessel has and still is incredibly intelligent and philosophical. Having a lifetime alone to his thoughts and under the guidance of the Twin Gods has sharpened his mind to the point of fame. He was once appointed as a Forest Elder for a time. Though his body is starting to age, each passing day makes him wiser and wiser.

Clockwork

His name means: The mechanism of a clock or watch
Title: The Omniscient One
Age: Adolescent - Adult

Appearance: His fur is a deep, chocolatey brown with golden stripes running from his back to his stomach. His antlers are large, curved, and spiked like fans. His mask is shaped like a pair of hands, which hides the dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep. His eyes are a light sparkling blue. He has a strong build due to his young age.

About Clock: He grew up normally enough, being bullied by his stronger older brother. When he was just about to become an adolescent, he noticed there was a crack in the Twin Gods' statue. When he looked at it, a bright flash of light came forward and knocked him back all the way to the foot of the hill. He was put into a deep sleep. After about a year of being cared for by his family, he finally awoke, but he was different. His mind was unstable and jittery, he couldn't sleep well at night, and he ran unnaturally fast, faster than any creature could ever achieve. The truth was that the flash of light was given by the Twin Gods, giving Clock all knowledge of the world. The massive amounts of information made him mentally unstable. Soon he became schizophrenic.
After finding their son to be so different, they left him one night, abandoning him. Clock was devastated, but it wasn't long before he found someone to care for him, Tropa. He grew up learning to deal with his schizophrenia and finding out that he also had split personalities. While they were harmless at first, they seemed to interfere with the doe he had fallen inlove with, Danielle.
After learning to deal with his problems all over again, his problems only became worse. One of his more docile personalities was replaced by a psychotic, dangerous personality who called himself Nero. The personality thought he was the true God and that the Twin Gods were merely fakes. Nero took hold of Clock's unending knowledge and put them to his own evil use. He tormented Danielle countless times, raped her (thus making her pregnant), and soon attempted to take the entire Endless Forest under his command.
Danielle eventually stopped him, forcing Clock back to the surface with her love, but he was still in danger. The Twin Gods took it upon themselves to separate Nero from Clock. Nero now roams the Forest in his own living hell as punishment for attempted usurption.

Tropa

Her name means: A combination of Troy and Sparta, from a past idea for her personality
Title: The Gingerbread Frog
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Doe

Appearance: She has no fur. Her skin is pale green with darker green spots along her back and neck. She has a lighter underbelly and face. Long, dark green hair drapes from her head, covering most of her neck. Seafoam green nubs take the place of her antlers. She wears a thin framework of butterflies on her face. She has a firm, yet graceful build. Her eyes are a bright grass green.

Family:
Clockwork, adopted son.

About Tropa:
Tropa was born to a large family of frogs in the Pond. Most would find this normal, but the Twin Gods had given her the ability to create candy with her breath. The colony of frogs looked down upon this, and sought to drive Tropa away. She hopped all the way to the Twin Gods statue to plead for another chance.
When she awoke the next day, she was a deer. Though she still held her frog-like features and her candy making powers.
She found herself a bit lonely until one day she stumbled upon a lonesome young stag weeping in the waters of the Pond. After getting to know him, they soon found a love for each other. She adopted the stag, Clock.
Things otherwise were peaceful, until one day she met a handsome stag who also lived at the Pond, Serpentine. They courted, and soon fell in love for quite a long time. But Serpentine disappeared one day. After much thought and time, Tropa learned to let him go. It seemed that as soon as she did this, he returned. She decided not to restart it in case he left again.
Through all of this, she's made one very dear friend, Blue, who's seemed to help her out in her sorrows. She enjoys spending time with him and talking with the dragonflies, and feels a little bad for eating so many of them at one point.
Now Clock and Danielle have had their son, so she's helping them out a little. Things are otherwise tranquil.

Bellsio

His name means: N/A
Title: The Playful Stray
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Stag

Appearance: His fur is thick and shaggy, making him look cuddly. The main color is a pale dark blue, with a white underbelly and legs. Four arrowed stripes mark both sides of his chest, pointing back towards his tail. On both shoulders and haunches is a diamond shape created by two arrowed stripes with a red spot in the middle. Down the length of his neck, back, and tail is a strip of extra long hair, being red at the roots, dark blue in the middle, and white at the tips. Three of his hoofs are blue, the front right hoof is red. He sports decent sized white-tail antlers and a real deer mask. His eyes are very pale brown. He has a very strong build.

About Bellsio:
While Bellsio's mother was pregnant with him, his father died from drowning in the Pond. His mother died giving birth to him. Being all alone, he wandered for a day before being found by a couple of long-faced deer (real deer). They took him in, named him, and started to raise him. But they couldn't get over the fact that he had a flat face, and ended up treating him more like a pet than a son. Eventually, they gave birth to a daughter, Glow. Glow and Bellsio grew up happily together, like a child and her puppy.
But soon Glow grew older and realized that her parents should not have been treating Bellsio this way. She stumbled across a stranger, who also had a flat face. The stranger told her about his home, and how all its inhabitants were flat-faced. Glow decided to free Bellsio from being treated like a dog and let him live with his own kind. The parting was sad, but it was all for his benefit.
Bellsio felt awkward and alone at first, but soon learned to adjust. Being neglected since early on, his mental growth was stunted. He can't seem to process things as quickly, and is very poor at speaking.
Bellsio soon met a stag, Andromeda, who would become his closest friend. They spent all their time together, and Bellsio learned a lot from him. But later on, Andromeda found a love, and all the attention once given to Bellsio turned to someone else. It was time for him to do the same.
He befriended Cal, who was, at the time, going through a bit of a love crisis. It all died down, though, and she found herself drawn to Bellsio. They were soon mated.
His life is at peace for now.
