The Best Halloween Ever

Halloween trade for Kaoori.

Violence warning. Don't read on if violence/gore bothers you! <3

Kaoori was excited for this Halloween. It would be her children’s first and she wanted to make it special. She had spent weeks getting into the spirit, decorating the hill where she and Wesker rested with anything orange and black (much to his chagrin).
This year was going to be fun, she knew it.

Now that her own costume, a skull mask, was ready, she was preparing to make some candy. After all, she didn’t want to just hand out pinecones. The fawns would curse her as “that old witch who gave us salty pinecones”. No, no, she wanted to give them special Halloween candy. She’d had a brilliant idea, too: she would take some mushrooms, berries and perhaps a little bit of grass and make them into the shape of a fawn’s head. Then she’d add some blood with berries and oh, it’d be perfect! It’d scare them silly, but it’d taste good too.

Kaoori was happily going about the forest, gathering up the ingredients, when suddenly she ran into a fawn. She had literally run into it, tripping over it and tumbling a few feet. The fawn cried out weakly and stumbled, scraping its knee. Kaoori was distressed and rushed over to help the poor thing when suddenly she looked at its head, resting on the ground.

With an odd expression, she turned towards her pitiful little pile of fruit and mushrooms. They really didn’t look like that fawn’s head at all. The fawns would all laugh at her or worse, ask her what on earth these things she was handing them were.

The little blue doe winced. She had wanted to make this Halloween special for the little fawns…
Her purple eyes fell again on the little fawn’s head. It was still working on standing up. It must be a new fawn, a very new one…with no mother nearby. Maybe that meant it didn’t have a mother. Slowly, Kaoori’s eyes lit up with an idea.

Nobody would miss one single little fawn in a forest full of them. And oh, wouldn’t a real fawn’s head work so much better?

“Hold still, little fawn. You have some dirt right about…” With that, she reared and knocked the fawn down, slamming it into the ground. All it took from there was a little well-aimed kick to the head…Then the spine…Then the neck…Maybe just break its legs for good measure…

---

Wesker woke up, scenting his mate nearby. He turned his head to look for her and saw her far off in the distance, dragging something small. With a smirk, Wesker trotted after her. She wouldn’t surprise him this time! He’d catch her in the act of leaving gifts.
When he got nearer, he instantly realized that something was wrong. With a look of horror, he rushed towards her, scenting blood. Had somebody hurt her again? He would have to punish them. He would—

The large stag froze, staring down at the object Kaoori was dragging. It was a fawn's head.

“Kaoori…”

“Wesker!” The little doe turned towards him, dropping the head with a smile. “I came up with the best idea for this Halloween!” With that, she turned and pointed to the large pile of fawn skulls and heads, heaped up where she had been dragging this one. From the looks of it, she’d killed at least five other fawns. The dark stag simply stared for a moment, then muttered something about “things to do” and took off running. Words followed him from the little blue doe with the crazed look in her eyes.

“This is going to be the best Halloween ever, Wesker!”

[[It all started with the drawing. >> It felt kinda inadequate, so I wrote this down to go with it. Hope you like it Kaoori. >D]]

You thought just the image

You thought just the image was inadequate?
Didn't Kaoori think her candy was inadequate, too?
Yeah, you just think about that.

But I have to admit, I was creeped out. But you made it light hearted enough for me to laugh at the end.
And no. I don't want candy. |: Or hearts.
