Hm, I think for me, it's not so much as not having a traveling partner, it's simply that it feels like I've seen most of what's around here. We used to go out of state frequently enough when I was a kid, but the last time that happened lately was around 2 years ago to New Jersey. And that was with family.

Don't get me wrong, if the opportunity is there, I'll take it (Going to Connecticut next month for a week.), but I'd prefer to do things on my own. Few roadblocks in the way though (Have practically no money, my car isn't very reliable, I just have no idea where to even go.). I've wanted to travel abroad, but I'm paranoid about things like that. Anything can go wrong, and I'd rather deal with emergencies here in the states than in another country. And I have my own other fears besides.

I need a better camera too, hahahaaaa. I intend to get one before I leave next month, so that should fix that minor problem.

Ah, I suppose, I just feel like I want to get out of New York at the very least. Though I wouldn't mind going to New York City for at least a day trip either, but everything's highly expensive down there...

Yes, I live in New York. Not the city though, out in the countryside actually. It's been developed in the past few years, which is a shame, but at least it's still the boondocks for the most part. I don't know, I wouldn't mind seeing smaller towns, they feel more homely to me. I don't mind the big lights and what have you, but it does have this hectic feel, and I feel like my senses get overloaded at times trying to take everything in.

If you're a big fan of cities, you'd probably like New York City, very busy. You'd need some deep pockets though, haha. There's quite a few stores where there aren't even any price tags on the items, because they expect you to have the money for it regardless of price. Then again, most of those are fashion stores. Anytime I've been down there, I stick to a few blocks that have smaller stores and eateries. But even the food gets pricey. NYC is just a pricey place. It's still lovely though, at least for a day trip. I often dream of living in a hustling city, but I know I could never actually tolerate it for long - I need my foggy morning fields and horses more than I need my sunset highways and rooftop runs.

To me, it does feel like it's easier to travel in Europe. The countries are all right next to each other, whereas here I'd have to go across the ocean to get anywhere I actually wanted to. It's very daunting.

Light - well yes, I think it might be possible. Me 'n Narina have been wondering if to sell some of our prints and notebooks here in tefc as well, we're just kinda clueless what comes to shipping the items, the costs mainly D;

Ugh, colder weather doesn't help either, I'm sure. Then you have to turn the heat up and it gets expensive again and UGH! ... I do love the snugly clothes though. >.<;

I agree about the colors! Fall is my favorite season for the hues alone. <3 When we moved recently into a new house I painted the living room in shades of autumn, so the doors are red, the walls are the color of autumn aspen leaves, and the trim is all white like aspen bark. Then we put fall forest pictures up so it's all lovely in there.

Now my rabbits own it, and all i get to do is walk through with their hay before being kicked out again. T____T; lolz.

bathtubs, fireplace, mmmm... so nice. (*Light fails at moving bathtubs through the internet and gives up* ...we could get you... a bucket?... T____T; ) I love those infrared heaters because they warm you up all the way to the inside like fire does. I have to keep one in my studio because the wood floors get chilly... and ghak! Cold hands/fingers for an artist is bad bad bad! T___T Fingerless gloves are a must in winter here.

Oh crap... I'm so sorry to hear it has turned out like that for you.. D: Exactly the situation I'm so afraid of myself.
Internet friends are awesome but yes, they're still not quite the same, indeed. They just have the habit of living somewhere so far away that seeing them is nearly impossible.. Sometimes we just need someone to drag us out of our caves into the fresh air and help us move on. And really, wouldn't mind having a friend to go to nice places with and all that.
And it's so sad that also friendships can fall apart from around the relationship of two people. I suppose you never hung around with them without your boyfriend being around as well..? Or why they left you? :/
And that school thing, that was cold. |D But well, best not to force anything. I really wish you'll find some other people around yourself in that school. Just keep your mind open, especially when there's any group projects or such. Those are a perfect chance to show you're a person worth getting to know. ;P
