Hello all! I'm a new fawn here. I'd just like to share and ask about what I found on the endless forest wikipedia page. I quote: Future plans:

Auriea Harvey and Michaël Samyn have general plans for what The Endless Forest is to become. They plan to continue the development of The Endless Forest in a way that suits themselves and their players. All plans go through the players to get their feedback and reaction. The game is based hugely on community involvement.

The general plan states:

"There's two main facets to the interaction design of The Endless Forest. On the one hand, it is sort of a magical deer-RPG or simulation game and on the other a stage for virtual performances (kind of an extreme form of Dungeon Mastering).

You are a stag
Every player starts the game as a young male deer. An older female (your mother) will guide you through the beginning of the game. As you keep playing, you will grow and your antlers will take on a unique shape.
There will be magical spells to acquire in the forest. A peculiarity of these is that you cannot cast them on yourself. Only on other deer. These spells can make the game a lot more interesting, so it will be important to find someone who can cast them on you.
Your deer avatar will live for a full year. If you want to continue playing with all the abilities you've gathered, you will need to procreate. There are plenty of attractive hinds in the forest. Perhaps you can persuade them. But better make sure you chase away your competitors with those awesome antlers of yours.

Every once in a while we, Auriea Harvey & Michaël Samyn, the authors and directors of this project, will intervene with one thing or another. Sometimes this may be an elaborate intrusion or addition that impacts life in the forest dramatically. At other times, small things will be added.

Eh, hi.

To be honest, I dont remember almost anything about my characters relations, who knew him and who he was friends with, who has brawls with him etc. Figured f Id get some names, my memory would slowly come back to me. Please tell me if your character knows Kalma and how he/she views the relationship between them and if you want your character to be added to his relations.

Also concerning the art; I lost all the files, every single piece of art which I commissioned and traded or got as gifts when my desktop suddenly died on me. If you still have the art you made of him saved somewhere, be kind and send it to me. Also if you have art of my other characters, please send those aswell. Thank you.

Hey! I'm new to the forum, eventually showed up after being convinced by a friend. Been playing the game for a month now but never got around here much. Gosh, I cant wait to begin!

So I'm quite new to forums and the community, as I never really go onto forums and such. And I just need some help getting informed. I'm seeing these things like bios for characters, role-plays, and things like: http://endlessforest.org/community/node/96639 and I really need someone to explain to me what all of this is. (Of course, I know what role-plays and such are, but I just need some information of what is happening and this deer families and herds. I'm very confused). All help appreciated <3

Hello there. Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I don't really spend time in the forums.
I've recently returned to play this game, And I noticed that my zombie pelt was gone.
And yes I did save it, I guess it just glitched out.

So here is the question, When the BZD usually arrives?
If I remember correct, On 2013 the BZD came a bit before Halloween.
(Yes, That was the last time I was around)~

Could I already find the BZD in the forest?
If I'm not able to get online in the Halloween itself, Does it appear also after Halloween?

So basically I haven't been playing in 2 years, And I noticed that I see new stuff in the game?
I've seen atleast a new mask (It reminded me of a sabertooth? It had teeth.)
And some new antlers which I haven't seen before. (Black ones, Not very large, But pretty.)
Was there an update?

Or then I just didn't pay attention what all is in there haha ^-^

I've gotten into a bit of a weird phase with Steam, basically, I'm buying games like crazy for when I'm at my hotel during landfill jobs and whatnot. That and...I've become a bit of a Steam Achievement junkie XD

I have Sunset on my wishlist, and I'm pretty sure a bunch of you have played it, so I was wondering what you thought. I definitely plan to get it, but I wanted to see what sort of reviews you guys had for it. Basically I'm considering either getting it now or getting it another time and getting something different.

Okay, I'm just guessing this is where this goes.
Well, anyway, I'm getting an error whenever I try to open The Endless Forest while running as admin

. I can't not run as admin because as most people know, if you run it without admin, it will be a different language, broken, and stuff.
Here's the pic:

I have tried reinstalling my game. (At the risk of deleting my pictures because I had too many pictures {over 2,000 :P} and it was taking up space :c .)
I'm not sure if anyone has ever had this error before, but if anyone can help, I would very much appreciate it.

I can't play without this solved.
