A little help with a story? [Contest]

You see, I have a TEF story in mind.
The good news? I have a good portion of it plotted already, which is my usual bugaboo.
The bad news? I don't have time to start even a short project right now. I will soon, though, but... Blerg. It's the pre-finals rush.

So, to keep the idea fresh in my mind, I'm going to ask for some help! Namely, I'd like you people to suggest some setting elements to me. The ones I feel are most evocative will make it into the story.

Evocative of what you ask? Well, I'm specifically thinking about a few major points in the story, so let's see...
Catagory 1:
A place of doubt

Catagory 2:
A place of rage

Catagory 3:
A place of forgiveness, peace, and tender-heartedness

Catagory 4:
A place of terror/fear

Catagory 5:
A place of battle

Catagory 6:
Free-for-all; whatever seems like it'd be a cool idea.

You can submit for as many or as few catagories as you want, and they can be as literal as you see fit... So have fun with it. Just specify what you're going for so I'll know.
Heck, let's make this a contest. Best ones in each catagory gets a gift art and poem! But you'll have to read the story to find out who won.

...And don't worry about them being logical; dreams never are.

Holly on the Old Oak 2011

[center]

In celebration of the Christmas Spirit, I wanted to write 12 more stories for the community. I don't have all of the stories planned yet but I'd love to get some ideas.

Read last year's 12 stories here! There is also some great artwork and stories from other TEF members there.

In addition, you can write your own stories or do Christmas artwork and I'll list them here.
Just provide me a link to it and I'll add it to the list!

This is my way of saying 'Thank You' for being a wonderful and supportive community for the past 4 years.

[CLOSED]Secret Santa 2011[CLOSED]

Yeah I was wondering if we're gonna even have a Secret Santa this year. I've hadn't seen BubblyWums around here at all since my return and I remember she was setting it up like last October.

So...I was thinking that maybe I or one of us to start the event for this year or shall we wait and see if Jen will come around to start it?

Actually I made uo my mind that this year I shall start on Secret Santa 2011. Just allow me a little time to organize the rules and guidelines. Also can someone be kind to link me to the old Secret Santa 2010 blog so I can go by it?

Hey all! As you know, I had brought up the idea of having a Secret Santa for this season and with the one who used to host the event being away, I had taken up responsibility to host it.

Please sumbit your infomation to alexa.wallace@maine.edu.

Would anyone like a Holly on the Old Oak series this year?

Hey guys, remember last year I wrote Holly on the Old Oak? It was 12 Christmas stories that were suggested and inspired by TEF members. I was considering writing 12 more this year for you guys, since it was a lot of fun and I think people really love reading them.

Would you guys like me to do this again this year? If so, do you have any suggestions for stories? I don't want to duplicate anything I wrote last year, so please refer to the link above before you suggest.

The other thing I need to decide is whether to reuse the link above and just add a "2011 stories" section, or whether to just make a new blog for it this year.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback Eye

I may be late posting some of the last ones since I will be taking a trip around that time, so please bear with me when it gets to that point

Story ideas so far:

A Christmas story featuring the Endless Forest Witches from the Halloween story

A snowdeer story much like Frosty the Snowman

A Grinch story

The story of the Baker's Dozen

Possibly a Hanukkah or Kwanzaa story -Maybe this Kwanzaa story-Jewish folktale-Jewish tale about a tree that absorbed tears-

PLK's suggestions of The Twelve Months and several other stories

maybe a story that has to do with someone giving reverence to the graves at the Ruins for Christmas, and some outcome for honoring the dead.

Festivities (Christmas Siggies! Anjali Done!)

As a way of practise and also to give something to the community for the coming festive season, I am offering to draw some siggies. They will be Christmas themed, so bells, stars, tinsel and such.
Please start requesting now, to give me time to draw them!

A link to your character's biography and/or a referance picture would be great!
Please also remember that as well as gifts for everyone, this is practise for me so I complicated designs might not come out as good as simple ones.

Forest Fashion Magazine!

I decided to start back up on the forest fashions, I had to take a short hiatus for a fashion convention. And what's a fashion convention without the fashionista herself there? Teehee! Well anyway, the Fashion Magazine is back in business.

Hello, and welcome to the Forest Fashion Magazine! I'm your host, the fashionista herself, Zephyr, and I'm here for guidance in all things fashion! As you may know in fashion, one day you're in, and the next day you're out! In the Endless Forest, this is just as true - some pieces of Forest flair may be fashionable one day and trash the next, so keep your subscriptions HERE so you can keep up with the latest trends, and stay far, far away from those fashion disasters! I'll keep you updated on all the latest gossip in the comments, and trendy fashions as well as fashion no-nos will be listed right here!

Got a gripe about the fashions and un-fashions I list? RANT ABOUT IT! You may affect future fashions, babe!

Also check below to see if you're mentioned as fashionable or totally unfashionable!

What's fashionable - "Trumpet" Antlers

Fashion no-nos - Nothing since everyone's been dressed up in their most awful clothes in the back of their closets for Halloween, so everything is approved by the fashion police...this time...

Always in style - Peacock Mask, Peacock Antlers, Peacock Pelt
[b]Always out of style - Nakedness!
