Beginning

Hello....
I am new to Endless Forest, even though I remember playing this game a long time ago. Someone hacked into my account, I suppose, and I couldn't get back in. Anyway, I'm glad to be playing again, because it IS a really good game. I took some pictures of my latest adventures in the forest as a fawn, and as soon as I know how to upload them, you can see them, too. I used to have the full peacock costume, courtesy of my friend DeerLover777 or otherwise known as TheDaninator. And please don't ask me about how I came up with such a weird username, because I don't know myself! I enjoy playing this peaceful, yet mysterious game. I feel myself getting lost in it every time I play!

First day on The Endless Forest

I entered the world as a fawn and I started running around and quickly learnt the proper controls though I am still unsure about most of them, what they do. I've learnt the different places, not by name but I know where I can find them.

I need some help with the controls. I don't know how this website really works yet as I'm new but if you can contact me in anyway on here with helpful advice on controls that'd be great!

I found my friends I nicknamed "Bluebird" and "Orca" but they don't look like they get on the community

Both of them are pretty new like me, which I assumed. I hope they come online here and find me too Sad

If you guys do I'm the purple deer with the mask that makes the rusty whistle noise! I hung out with you guys. Sir-slate was trying to get his pelt and horns back and I was trying to find horns but gave up. An annoying other fawn was bothering us and turning us white.

WOULD IT BE SPAM TO BUMP THIS EVERY SO OFTEN IN HOPES I FIND MY FRIENDS IN THE COMMUNITY??

Profile image pictogram help!

I see people on here with their pictogram on a black bg as their profile image but mine isn't that it's just a bunch of pictogram's moving and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could fix that untill I get a screen shot of my fawn.

Questions, Expirences, And thoughts ~please read~

Ok so Yesterday I just got the game and I learned a lot by just playing and hanging out with other deer. But if you don't want to read about my expiriences and just answer my questions for me they will be re listed at the bottom of this post.

So I stated the game by exploring around as my fawn. I found the ABIOGENESIS very interesting at first and had fun making myself white. But now I find it very annoying when people turn me white! Especially when I'm trying to use the near by pine tree for new antlers.

As time progressed I eventually gathered with some other fawn and this one deer I will always remember very specifically. He/She is black on top and white on bottom, has no mask, and real deal antlers. They always have flowers on their antlers and like to lead/play with herds on fawn. After following that deer for awhile our herd of five slowly deplinished from five to four to three to two. And then it was just me the deer and another fawn. I nicknamed the deer the fawn herder. Well soon the fawn herder went offline and me and the other fawn were alone.

They began to walk off and having nothing better to do I followed them. We stopped and met a couple other deer along the way but the most fun was a smaller than normal fawn sitting on a pillar in the ruins. We tried to figure out how to get up there and I managed to, you just walk into the pillar! Which leaves me with one last question, how was that deer so small??

After a little bit longer I went afk to do chores.

When I came back I proceeded to explore and I met these two other fawn who were very decorative. One was white with a black patch on it's back and the other blue and yellow. I traveled and played with them until their pelts wore off, and then the did the strangest thing! They layed down and their pelts came back. I couldn't figure it out at the time.

A little later I got seperated from them but found the fawn herder again.

id like the secretary bird pelt, the venetian carnival antlers (if possible) and the magpie mask. ill be the one by the bridge lying down with the real deer (dark) pelt.

Returning to the Forest

Rou woke up at the sound of beautiful birdsong high in the trees. Yawning, the doe decided to head to the pond and took off, stretching her legs. When she had stopped in the shallows of the pond, she looked down and, instead of her usual fawn colors, she had the pelt the other deer had helped her get and tall antlers adorned with purple flowers. She was no longer a fawn, but a full adult.

Those First Steps

Not sure if anyone would care enough to read this, but I should at least give the community a heads up that a new fawn has awakened in the forest.

It all started when I was browsing through Deviantart and noticed a favorite artist had submitted a picture of a weird looking deer with a human-like face and mentioned a game called The Endless Forest. I had assumed it was a console or other pricey game that I wouldn't be able to afford at the moment and almost passed on looking up the game, but curiosity overwhelmed me and I decided to check it out. To my surprise, it was not only a PC downloadable but free as well! Now I was getting very curious but I remembered downloading and attempting to play A Slower Speed of Light, only that ended with the game crashing every time the beginning cutscene finished. Not yet deterred I downloaded the game anyway and played a bit while unregistered just to get a feel for the game.

First, the place was beautiful! Shocked My default deer also moved smoothly (except for a moment of moonwalking Laughing out loud ) and lag was minimal. Deciding that this seemed like an ok game I got a deer name and dove back in.

I had already read that I would be a fawn so no surprises there. There was a major difference between my test play and this one; the presence of other deer/players. During my test I didn't see other people but this time I was immediately near another player. Deciding to prioritize exploration over socialization I headed over to an odd stone formation, except there were a lot of deer there. Feeling shy, I remained quiet and just observed. Some sniffing, just to be polite, but with my bashfulness getting the better of me I ran off to explore more.

I quickly stumbled on some sort of... graveyard? (Apparently the Ename Ruin) Not sure why there was a graveyard here I decided to walk around and take a look. With no one around to see me, I jumped up on a piece of the ruin to act as my platform as I retried different actions.
