Marvael and Tizane's designs weren't really doing it for me. With Marvael, I have to stiffen my arm from the elbow down so my hand shakes and gives him just the right fur texture. [Ow, cramps. Dx] And when it comes to Tizane...ugh, that damn helmet.
So while I love them, they're gonna need some reworking.
In the meantime, I designed one deer I had put on the back burner for later.
Soyeah, this is Lapstrake. He hangs out at the pond, floating around on his funky back antlers. xD Like a boat. Hence his name.
Just a doodle; I'll need to design him further tomorrow.

I could not bring myself to draw a normal deer tonight, so I had to settle for a chibi. xD; Inspired by Moss' chibi style, o' course. Sorry about that, Moss. It's a thing I do [by complete accident] when I admire a style. xD;;; I didn't use any refs, though, so maybe I'm apologizing for nothing...?
