Redkora and Laruna Doodles

Redkora's picture
In all the time I have been drawing other people's deer (or just TEF deer in general), I have only drawn my own, , twice. Here is is, in all his sketcy, Moleskine glory. I draw with an eraserless pencil to force myself to not obsess over being perfect which is something I struggle with.

A Laruna is under the cut!

I was sitting in a student chapter meeting and I started doodling in my notebook. I started with the tree, and then Laruna grew out of it.

I love that picture of my deer, thank you for drawing him!<3 And actually that is not too far off from the story of how he came to be in the forest. (: I also like the little symbol doodles.

Thanks! I was a little worried about his neck and the way it twisted, but I figured to roll with it. Sticking out tongue

I'm glad I didn't confuse you on the symbolism, Laruna. Your deer is such a cool concept. When I drew your deer, I thought it would be appropriate to connect him with the tree.

Details are nice, but when

Details are nice, but when someone gets the overall shape and image to look good there is a big difference, I think. Plus it is easy to get lost in details and lose sight of the overall image. I do a lot. A matter of discipline, maybe?

It is my pleasure. Keep up the good work.
