A gentle spring breeze dances through the forest, and the trees bow their head in greeting, petals carried into the sky. The birds are singing, ever-busy, and the earth is warmed by the sun; golden pollen makes the air shimmer and glitter.
A whisper is carried among the soft rustle of the grass:
A feral herd has been sighted near the Playground!
Anyone is welcome to don a real deer mask and pelt (or anything vaguely realistic-looking, really! Or perhaps a fawn) and come join. How about rubbing some trees, spar a bit, go drink and slowly move through the forest? No need to be a character, but if you do have a feral that would like some company, feel free to have them join!
Maybe a predator comes along and makes things exciting too, who knows (not me, I haven't thought that part through)
If you don't have a picto or suitable character, feel free to use this one, known as a "community picto":
Picto name is
toefat, and the picto password is
tuxedo.
It will have a suitably real-deerish set.
(This is just a bit of chill fun, with nothing further planned. I just felt like Being A Deer for a while. Maybe you do too).
The herd will start at around 19:00 GMT+1 and I'll give this blog, and the TEF discord, a nudge when it starts.
Ended for now, thank you to all who participated! <3 If anyone has ideas or feedback for more herd events in the future, I'd love to hear it! It is likely that this will happen again.
I will be using this picto:
Trackin~
Ooh, sounds like a good plan!
