Are you playing as a fawn?

You load your set before you exit the game every time?

As a fawn you have to load your set before you exit every time otherwise it won't stay. Even as an adult you will keep whatever set you exit the game wearing.

Yes. Your set as an adult is permanent until you decide to change it, but when you log out you still need to make sure you have the set you want to keep.


Example:

My Moss wears the Antelope mask, Orca pelt, and purple hyacinths in his antlers.

Someone casts ... say... the Green Kirin pelt on him and I forget to sneeze that off.

I log off of the game with him wearing the Green Kirin pelt instead of the Orca Pelt.

He will still be wearing the Green Kirin Pelt when I log in again. I will have to get someone to cast the Orca Pelt back on him, even though I didn't save the Green Kirin pelt at all.

Yes, spells are all random when cast.

Oh! In case you have not discovered yet:

Eating a mushroom from a tree gets you a mask spell.

Rubbing a pine tree and eating the cone that falls gets an antler spell.

Laying next to sleeping deer gets you a pelt spell.

Falling asleep in a mushroom circle can get you an animal spell (Rabbit, crow, frog, dove, bat) or a mini-spell.

Fawns can keep candles and flowers permanently.

And jumping into the pond will erase all spells you are wearing so you have to load them again.

Nobody can cast any spell on you when you wear the red pelt from the Crying Idol, either.

That giant crying statue at the end of the river gives a red pelt when you run through it. You can not save that pelt, but when you wear it nobody can cast spells on you.

oh ok ty also when(just now) I was just laying next to a friend a adult deer came up to us and started to change colors how is that so?? (and when he was laying down)

... You actually "sneeze" the spell off.

It's when you click the little gold deer on your actions bar and click on either the pelt, mask, antler, or animal icons. Your deer sneezes and the spell goes away permanently.

Candles are only found during Halloween time, but there is a complicated way of getting them now.

I'm assuming you mean that. I just turned my deer into a fawn and loaded my set. He was a mini deer as a stag, so loading the set on the fawn turned my deer into a mini fawn. c:
