Conga and dance lines ahoy!

GoldenWinged appears while Magnet's casting to get Faris's mask.

Some silliness follows before GW goes.

Followed by some more silliness by the Idol before Faris leaves as well.

Then Radeon switches in after seeing Okami on.

And what do we have here?

The mysterious disembodied flame again!

Last Night's Mini-Abio

The fog rolled in...
I didn't notice it at first, but Kinsha quickly figured out why Cirrus fled and soon took off after her to the Twin Gods hill, where they, E, and Judgment witnessed Michael flexing his powers.

After being transformed into bats...

Cages rained down.

And barbecued bat was on the menu! Shocked

Then a copy of the Ruins appeared from thin air!

Lightning!

Grass rings.

And finished it off with rocks raining down from the sky.

The Twin God goes poof...

..and I swear the wolf howls went with him. O.o

Greetings! Kurios's First Hours

"Make me thy lyre, even as the forest is:
What if my leaves are falling like its own!
The tumult of thy mighty harmonies

Will take from both a deep, autumnal tone,
Sweet though in sadness. Be thou, Spirit fierce,
My spirit! Be thou me, impetuous one!
"
--Percy Bysshe Shelley

Hello, noble Forest dwellers! Newcomer here. I'm usually known as Kuriositty, and this is my little deer, Kurios (yes, in the same manner as Curious George--and he is). Late last night--or early morning, depending on how you look at it--I stumbled across the website for Endless Forest, was intrigued, and decided to try it out. So here we are, Kurios and me (well, not exactly me; I'm the invisible pair of eyes over Kurios' shoulder).

Late last night the Forest was fairly quiet, but this morning it came alive! Kurios had a nice run and met many interesting deer. There was dancing and swimming and rock-climbing and ruin-spelunking, and we gradually learned the ins and outs of throwing sparkly Forest Magic around. Already Kurios can't wait to grow up and earn his own pair of really truly antlers. And there are so many shapes and pelts to choose from! Everyone is so unique.

Kurios is a rather shy little fellow, but still very curious, and very interested in the goings-on of the Forest. He'd like to sincerely apologize if he annoyed anyone as he tottered around, since he's not very good at maneuvering or communicating yet. (We're further handicapped by the loss of our trusty desktop computer, and thus having to run the Forest on a cranky laptop with bad fps.)

The Forest is honestly beautiful, and the concept of the game itself is unique and aweseome. Kurios and I look forward to many peaceful and interesting adventures! Thanks everyone for your patience and kindness!

Why do I love you so much?

For 21 years I never knew you.
Were you always there, just waiting to be created...just waiting to be born? Were you watching over me, like some kind of guardian?
You were born in the fall...my favorite season. Is that a coincidence?
Do you remember being a Phase 2 deer? I got to see a glimpse of who you would become before you became a Phase 3 fawn. I remember it took you some time to understand the Forest and to meet other deer.
Do you remember those days? That was funny, you wore those red flowers in your ears and everyone thought you were a girl. You used to laugh and run, and you loved to dance on the Pond.

You grew up, and became a great friend to so many deer. I'm glad that you're so friendly.

I love when you dance. You look so happy, and I know you love when everyone else joins in with you. I love how silly you can be, and how you can make your friends laugh.
I love how kind and polite you are, and how you go out of your way to enchant other deer when they don't have any spells.
Did you know that I think about you every day? I even doodle pictures of you in my notebooks.
I wish I could hug you in real life. You just seem like such a soft and warm deer, who would love a hug.

I guess what I mean is...

Dammit, Quad. Why do I love you so much?

Feel free to write one of these for your own deer. It has officially been bandwagon'd

The Diary of Seed 3-1-09 (Again, Drama-llama warning; also, long and pictureless)

[=#006400]
I don't like writing these entries when something dramatic has been going on, for a number of reasons. But I think today I must, to try and explain my own actions and my inactions.

Go ahead, ask me my part in all of this. Ask me my part in this or any other story, and I will tell you the same answer: I am the fool, the first card of the tarot, well-intentioned but innefective, aware of the cliff only after he steps off of it -- but, on the way down, coming close to understanding the cliff. I am the poet, who makes nothing happen. I am Romeo as Mercutio is stabbed beneath his arm. That is my part in all of this, if I can even grant it that much drama, or that much purpose, if I am willing to grant my intentions some nobility (which I am only partially willing to do).

I woke up to a light but driving fog, the sky and all its clouds brought down to our level. In the distance, I could hear someone casting a spell, and the sound being warped by the mist, turning into a strange, whistling shriek. I should have taken that as an omen: I should have stayed under the bridge. I did not, and had a rather peaceful morning, which is not the point of this entry.

It began with Walter and I being setless. I had awoken to find Lemon, and Walter found us. We started trying to get ourselves fully clad and -- really -- it was a good time. Until, somewhen, Lemon wandered off: she says Walter shoo'ed her, and perhaps he did, and perhaps he did not. I didn't see it, either way, so it seemed that she just...wandered off. She started roaring in the distance, but, well, we still weren't done: Walter needed his antlers. And he was getting impatient. He was getting upset.
