"A wolf in sheep's clothing."

I really really really dislike the idea of weredeer. Simply because deer are deer. But that saying put the most wonderful concept in my head. A sort of mystical creature, similar in form to a wolf, but not of the species. More of an 'it' who spends her time in deer form. Her personality is unfolding in my head right now. XD Dignified, mysterious, but very...canivorous. lol. Seductive. You wouldn't want to get tangled up with her. :U Her actions are for herself and her alone - even if she is helping somebody, it is due to her own wants or desires. And although she's a sort of semi-goddess, her power equals those of the Forest deer.

She's so pretty in my head hnn. GOD I really don't want a wolfdeer and the thought of having five deer frightens me, mostly because I ignore my stags way too much. XD But fff. Help on the subject?

Well, it's almost time for our (Lightbringers) second annual pre-Halloween gathering, and recent grumblings in the woods tell me we need to come together as LBs and a community now more than ever.

It will be centered around the Old Oak, as before (for those who actually remember), and we'll be greeting and playing with everyone who stops by - sort of a temporary in-forest hospitality lodge/ welcome wagon.

I would like to keep this event going from Noon to midnite, EST, on the 24th of this October, which means I'll need some help from you LBs and anyone else who might like to join the festivities. Volunteers are needed and welcome!

As always, I'm posting this well in Advance, so feel free to flood me with helpful advice, suggestions, and abuse.

October 5th is my real life Birthday, October 5th is ALSO when the Rut on TEF starts so I have a question for everyone on here.

Should I have any of my deer participate in the rut? I'm curious if anyone would want to do anything with the characters in general and I don't really know how my boys would react to an event. I'm just giggling like mad at the thoughts myself of course, it's just me being how I am <_<;; and I wouldn't mind hearing what others want to see from me or my deer.

Slight personalities though for them or at least how I see them acting in the rut.

Toxic - He would be shy in the approach to others. He's not a strong Stag, much less one that would openly go towards the rut in anyway. If anything, he'll likely hover off to a side and try not to participate in anything. This would be Toxic's first rut for the most part, and so the chances of him getting a doe in general would be slim. Plus, he looks more like a 'doe' himself in terms and would likely be chased rather than chasing.

Iviran - This would be a prime thing for Iviran, he's been in ruts before (It's how he and Claudia first met) and he'd be more aggressive during the time. Of course, this means fights with him would be inevitable and he'd probably be an out casted stag. Then again, out of all my deers he's the only one I'd see going into the Rut full tilt. Though I don't see Iviran having any chances with any does with his Reputation

Claudia - She would be more afraid than anything, trying to avoid stags and such rather than dealing with them seeing as the last rut she was in was when she met with Iviran and the stag claimed her only to kill the fawns that she produced. When approached, she'll likely be afraid of the stag and will probably back away in the beginning. Only mild approaches would be best for her, aggressive stags will likely remind her of Iviran and she will run.

Been listening to Magic Dance - David Bowie and now have an odd urge to make an Endless Forest music video for it with all the the deer jumping around and using spells. *le sigh*

Today I got my adult deer back after loosing the password.

I am not quite sure why, but I found myself acting...not myself this night. Acting much more lively than usual. "Hyper" even.
I cannot even blame the shield-like mask I wore, for I was behaving strangely before choosing to wear it.
In fact...I seem to act this way mostly when around Lady Amary.

I tread on a subject I nothing of once again.
She was standing much closer again as well. Closer even than the last time we met. And I willingly allowed it. Content at her proximity even.
...
I can imagine Cousin teasing me this very moment.
Would speaking of this with him if possible even be wise?
I am unsure if I could even bring myself to do so.
I suppose...I shall figure this out eventually, as I have with the other mysteries of this forest...

...there was a laptop. Then, there was a guy and after all that, there was The Path. After playing with it for more than 5 hours, more than I played any other game in the last... years, I needed to find who created such bizarre creature. When I found the site, I had to try The Graveyard... and that's how I also just had to try The Endless Forest. I honestly don't know if this is the future of videogames or, computer art-something, but it's very enjoyable. I'll keep an eye on Tale Of Tales.

In the meantime, my dear, I'll be wandering around in "you know where".

I'm Emma, 13 years old, and I'm new to the forest obviously, and like most on this site I'm sure you all love art, and the beauty of nature and such, well so do I, so I should fit in just fine.... Um, the only question I have is how did users find out about The Endless Forest, or Tale of Tales? I found out from a friend and she claims she doesn't know where she found it either.
