Where do you go... (artwork/writing challenge)

"...when you die...?"

As you might know, Quad has a power where he comes back to life when he dies. It is a blessing and a curse, as he is able to continue his life until his duties are fulfilled, but he experiences all the pain of death when he comes back.

But during those moments of death, where does he go? What does he experience? What does he see?

I'd like to see your thoughts of this, your interpretation of that stage of death. I've never made a definite experience, and who knows...maybe he experiences this state differently each time he's died.

Any media is welcome (photomanip, Harmony, sketch, drawing, abstract art) as well as writings. Aside from that, please use your imagination to create the experience.

I'll return the favor for any of these done by writing you a poem in return. Please let me know if there's someone in particular you'd like for the poem.

If you need any specific information about Quad, let me know. I can also give suggestions or somewhere to start but really I'd like to see what you guys come up with. Also if you need a specific screenshot of Quad somewhere in the Forest, let me know and I'll get it to you as soon as I can. Just say "take a screenshot of Quad sitting (standing/sleeping/rearing/ect) at [insert place here]"

I was tempted to do one

I was tempted to do one myself but I didn't want anyone to feel like they had to model their idea around mine, so I'm kind of hoping someone else comes up with something before I get to that point.

Hmm...I wonder if it would be helpful to list some of the ways he's died...he was shot a few times, killed once or twice by rock hounds, and been overexposed to Iugulare's infection to name a few.

I had a character die a good

I had a character die a good while ago[outside of TEF] and they could not find their way back from death, so I created something that lies "in-between" so to speak, to lead them out of death's hands. Perhaps this same thing could help Quad out?

I dunno, I shall see what I can do. :3

That's a really neat idea, I never considered something like that. I like the thought of death really being a struggle, like he might have to earn his life back by doing something.

I have an idea for this, so I guess I should go ahead and write mine. If anyone decides to do one, I don't want you to base your ideas on what I write. I'd like to see as many different thoughts as possible. Eye

Edit - My story is written, it's at the top of the blog. I plan to write at least one more, maybe a more positive one Eye

Might even try to draw something on Harmony.
