This was actually painful to watch...

Yes it is very wrong you laughed, I'm sorry no offense, but animals getting hurt is nothing to have the giggles about, especially not if that was your dog.

Thanks fayne for trying to lighten the mood but that fawn was probably scared to death as well.

I'll stop cause now I'm just picking on everyone...

Oh, by no means did I think

Oh, by no means did I think the dog getting injured was funny. I was referring to the way the cat was acting (hence, why I clarified). I think it's an interesting video on wild deer behavior, none the less.

Would everyone still feel bad for the dog if it attacked back? What if it was a video of the deer attacking a person? What if it was a lion attacking a zebra? Juuuust wondering.

Also: That fawn doesn't appear to be scared at all; it looks to be playing the same way it would play with other fawns If it felt threatened, it would drop down and hide like the one in the first video. It's not unheard of for dogs/deer to bond.
Kiraki's picture

Yes i thought the way the cat

Yes i thought the way the cat was acting was cute too, even though it seemed to have gotten a blow as well. You should maybe be more specific and add a more specific warning as well, this is not the type of video I like to see, sorry.

As for your questions, yes, I would still feel bad if the dog attacked back, reason: The dog being there and not on a leash is NOT the dogs fault but complete negligence on the owners part. It makes no difference whether the dog attacked back or not, at least in this case only one of them got hurt.

If it was a deer attacking a person then I am sure only the person is to blame for which ever stupid thing they did to have the deer attack them in the first place.

Lions and zebras are wild animals, they hunt, they get killed, there not tame animals that get raised at home and sleep with you in your bed. Animals getting hurt/attacked in the wild is not due to -human negligence-!

*Edit: Yes the fawn might just be playing too, it just didn't look all that happy to me, just my opinion. I'm no expert on fawns though where I'm from we don't have any deer so I could be very wrong.

I giggled. Not because of the poor dog but because that cat was had some balls. XD
That doe was NOT taking any strange looks from that dog or cat.
I feel bad for the dog but why the hell was the owner not paying attention? Obviously the doe is going to attack it, I mean she just had a baby for goodness sake. And why didn't she run up to save it, may seem like a dumb question but the doe PROBABLY would've run away. Unless she just really felt like kicking ass.

I sense a tense mood. -cough- justsayingflefmeantnothingbadbyit.

Anywayyys. Flef, I love you. And that picture WINS. Actually I take that back. Flef, your an evil person. EVIL. HOW DARE YOU?!

While I love deer and

While I love deer and all...that was very painful to watch. It would have been one thing if the dog was attacking the doe, then I would have not felt so bad, but...dang...the dog was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I mean I would have done something other than stand there and record if I saw a doe stomping on my dachshund.
Rapheal's picture

Damn, good thing that didn't

Damn, good thing that didn't happen in my neighborehood.

Sorry deer, but I'm a dog person, would have been outside with a gun faster than ya'll can snap, fawn be dammed.
Cyaneus's picture

... If that were my pet you

... If that were my pet you can bet I'd put that damn camera down to go punch that deer in the face. But seriously, deer can be dangerous, and they kick really hard (I know firsthand!) ... and it makes me angry-sad that those people didn't keep their pets away from that doe in the first place.

Also, that is one impressive schlong.

OkamiLugia's picture

Deer are some of the most

Deer are some of the most realistically scary animals out there. No joke. I had a buck challenge MY CAR in MY DRIVEWAY. He stomped a couple of times, puffed himself up, and would not move even as my car approached. If I had been walking home.... *shudder* It's unfortunate people take them so lightly. I'm surprised that deer didn't snap sooner on the person filming, but I guess the fawn didn't lay flat until it saw the dog. I suppose it doesn't have the instinct to fear humans yet. Oh, and running up to the doe empty-handed to scare it away? BAD IDEA. You will piss her off more, and she will kill you AND the dog.

Lesson: Take your fear of sharks/spiders/snakes/(insert creature here) and replace it with deer xD

Cats. Gotta learn the hard way. Amusing creatures.

PENIS BURGER OMG WIN
