Sketches (Ben and Hook)

Realized I haven't posted art here in a while, so since I found myself drawing fan art (Ben has always been one of my favourite deer in TEF), I figured I would share. The second fellow is Hook, whom I've been slowly bringing back (aka playing once a month at best...).

Aw thank you LambFleece, I feel the same way about sketches. Mine usually end up being much more animated and emotive than my coloured pieces. I'm glad you like Hook! He's way too much fun to draw (I need to practice his antlers though >_>).

Oh my gosh what a surprise! When I first saw the title I had to do a double take, haha.
I've always been a fan of the looseness of sketches. He looks absolutely, absolutely wonderful. I think your portrayal is very fitting of him. He looks thoughtful. I love the arch of his neck, the curve of his antlers, and the dynamics in his pose. And I love you for including his bird friends too.

HEHEH I am pleased you like it Unplugged, I was lurking around your tumblr and remembered how you draw Ben in a similarly expressive sketchy style. Ben has perm-birds for me.
