The Black Swan
The Black Swan is a keeper of time and Forest history; an ancient vessel created alongside the birth of The Endless Forest. She is rumored to appear as a wandering entity lurking within the deepest parts of the secluded birch, or haunting the
Crying Idol on even rarer occasions. Legend states that if one were to wander far enough, they may stumble upon a clearing in the woods, where all direction and sense of time are lost. Shrouded by a looming mist and dense forest, she appears waiting under the sliver of a new moon. Encounters with The Black Swan are said to be unnervingly surreal and fleeting, and are most of the time written off as just, perhaps, an unsettling dream.
Despite the years, however, after many generations of this story being passed, those who have been visited by The Black Swan all recall the same: facing a pupiless gaze, chilling, and dark; pools of black so bottomless and deep it trapped the light within them. Instead of a window to the soul, they were met with a mirror of the onlooker.
They saw only themselves.

So sorry for this wall of text:
I feel personally that when we detach from ourselves (what I refer to as a sense of 'i', or the 'self'), we become more in-tune with the world, since the world is collective, and the only thing distinguishing ourselves from the whole is simply that self awareness. What makes us unique as humans is that we are able to do this, have a self-awareness/consciousness/be able to say that we are individuals, and yet, we make up this very large collective whole that we are able to tune into, such as the universe, the people...
So, she exists in that way, very enlightened and in-tune with the world, but of course it's not 100%, because she is an individual with a consciousness. And since I believe that everything with a consciousness is innately flawed, this applies to her, sadly.
She had the choice at birth to be a perfect vessel of knowledge / truth of the world by discarding her own consciousness (this is what the gods intended at birth for her, but they gave her a choice), but it would mean giving up what makes her able to empathize and connect with others, via emotions, but in return, she is incomplete, forever imperfect. Her purpose has not been fulfilled entirely, she lives with this in mind every day.
