I dunno, I think I failed a bit...
Anyone here know how to deal with GIMP 2?
I just kind of think it'd be nice if it was possible to fill in color without getting all those white dots. o.o (Without having to blur the outline every time)
You should neeever used the Color fill tool xD
Did you already have a lineart might I ask?
To color a drawing easily without those white lines, do this (If you already had a lineart):
First, click (at the top of the screen) Layer, then click TRANSPARENCY, then click COLOR TO ALPHA.
Then click yes.
THEN add a new layer (NOT a transparent layer, a WHITE layer)
Then move this new layer underneath the background layer.
Then add another layer (this one must be transparent) and move it between the background and white layer.
And now you can color! (:
hmm, i think i know an easier way to color. sorry to steal your thunder, Nein, i used to be a master myself ^^;
what you do is just make a new layer underneath the lineart, then click on the magic wand. it should take a while, but select each section one by one (because i dont think you can click on more than one, not sure... its been a while). then go to the color layer, click on Select, then click Expand One (or just Expand and then enter 1). then your selection should be big enough for the edges to be hidden under the lineart, perfect color!
Thanks guys, I'll try both ways and see what I'd be more comfortable with.
I used to be good with Photoshop and Imager, but I don't have either of those on my laptop or desktop (just used them at my old school's computers), but I was never actually taught how to use gimp. XD
Im a master at Gimp. <3 You
