Purple is my favorite color, and there is nothing I want to see more in a new set. I've been craving a purple pelt ever since finding out that the one we do have is only for fawns!

I know I'm not the only one who wants this, so I thought I'd dig up some ideas in case they inspire anyone.

purple gemstones
• Charoite (and a raw charoite). My new favorite gemstone. I think a charoite-inspired pelt would look fantastic. And we don't have anything based on gemstones. In fact, there isn't much in TEF that's not based on animals.
•There is, of course, amethyst, especially ones like these. Or something based on an amethyst geode would be pretty cool.
•Ametrine (tumbled, raw).
• Agate comes in a ton of different colors and patterns. Here are some purple ones. But you can find them in almost any color if you're looking for something else.

purple flowers
•pansy, which apparently the purple fawn pelt is based on. An adult version of that pelt would be nice. Also, pansies, come in several different colors.

• But you gotta take a look at these orchids.
• And these crocuses.
• more pansies (and another)
• Japanese morning glory
• Columbines (if you look these up, make sure to search for "columbine flower")
• More orchids, +1, +2. OMG there are so many different orchids, it would take forever to link all the really cool ones. Just look them up.

And there's a ton of different kinds of purple flowers.


purple animals (real purple animals are kinda rare, some of these might not actually be real)
• this moth
• this fish is called royal gramma or Gramma loreto
• purple emperor butterfly
• this beetle (apparently a "pleasing fungus beetle")
• this nudibranch is called Hypselodoris bullockii
• another nudibranch (Hypselodoris apolegma)
• not that we need more bird pelts, but there's this one and the amethyst starling and the heads on these purple crowned fairy wrens.
• seahorse
• purple tang
• another nudubranch--look at this thing! Apparently a Spanish shawl nudibranch or Flabellina iodinea.
