I love what you've written. May I request one of my deer? I don't want to ask too much, because I want you to feel free to take artistic liberties, but I'd love if the theme was related to my deer losing control of its plants. It's a darker aspect of my deer I rarely explore here, but if my deer is not careful the plants will take over its body, either rooting its body to the ground until it no longer resembles a deer, or attaching it to another tree or plant. If you're okay with this, I'd love to see how you interpret this trait of my deer.
(And, you can refer to my deer as Rune/he/him if you need to.<3)

This comes naturally for me, but there are times where I'm blown away by other people's poetry. But I need to accept that I have my own style and that people really like what I write, even if I feel like it's not the best compared to more professional writers.

Ebony and ivory drape her form elegantly
She wanders alone, her master's calling
Red eyes stare back to those who meet them
Yet this creature is much more than what she seems
To know her, one would discover a walking treasure
Do not be fooled by the tribal stripes on her body
She is no threat, she only asks for friendship
Allow her a moment's peace, just to meet her
And you will be granted a friendship eternal

Let the broken humerus mend itself
