Uruu is a very curious doe...in both senses of the word. She is interested in the world around her, and much like a cat she will explore every nook and cranny she can find while not thinking of the consequences. However, she is also curious in the way that she may seem...odd. Uruu is not terribly social as she is shy, and not completely trusting of strangers. Despite this, she does warm up quickly to those she meets, and is very friendly and even goofy when she feels comfortable around others. Although intelligent and mature in body, she may become too playful and may seem immature or annoying to other deer her age.
That night, she was encountered by an enormous, silhouetted stag that appeared in the fog. It spoke to her in a deep and commanding voice, demanding for her to live. The fog carried it away, leaving Uruu confused but oddly comforted. She found herself going back to the Oak, and instead of her mother she found a single hyacinth flower in her place. From that moment forward, Uruu had vowed to always adorn hyacinths upon her head, for by doing so her mother is always with her.
& Uruu is always approachable, but she does not also immediately approach others due to her shyness.
& By nature, Uruu is not a confrontational deer and tends to not get herself involved in drama. However, if said drama involves friends, fawns or minis, she WILL get involved and might even become uncharacteristically aggressive. This is especially true if a fawn, mini or friend is being attacked or harassed.
& One of her favorite things is to keep other deer company. If she sees one sitting or sleeping alone, she just may join in for a bit.
& Speaking of which, beware sleeping deer for Uruu may put a spell on you! However, she always makes sure she makes a pretty set, and nothing that's too much of an eyesore. c:
& Uruu can usually be found sleeping in or near a hyacinth field, in the Ruins or, most frequently, by other deer.
& Uruu is deeply afraid of an area around the Playground that she has come to call the Red Patch. She refuses to go anywhere near it, and will flee if she stumbles upon it. Although she does not know it yet, her friend and future mate, Tosa, will be murdered by a dark stag with 'antlers like spikes' upon its soil.

Do some people end up embedding CSS since we can't use the style or body tags? And, how do you go about making a box, drop-down menu or background image without the use of said tags? The issue might be something else, like how you can't have any spaces in your coding; I know that's what got me when I was starting out. This site is set up a little awkwardly, some slightly different rules apply to the coding than in regular websites.

You're lovely!" she continued, rearing slightly in a playful manner and touches noses to the doe once more.

Uruu sighed softly and closed her eyes as she felt the soft breeze rustle through her fur. She was standing on a small hill facing the Old Oak, which was not unusual for her as she found herself paying respects to her mother whenever she is in the area. It was a peaceful day, and a smile appeared on the doe's face. If only it would rain...oh, how pleasant that would be...
An ear swiveled as she heard small hoofsteps approaching her from behind, and she looked over her shoulder curiously. Her eyes widened, as did her smile, when she instantly recognized the other doe that bowed before her. Forgetting to bow back in her excitement, Uruu happily bounded towards the doe and gave her a nuzzle, rearing playfully.
"Oh, Awentia, it is you! My goodness...look at you! You are all grown, and so beautiful!" Uruu exclaimed happily, trotting around the other doe before facing her again and finally bowing back with a giggle. "It is so wonderful to see you again! What have you been up to all this time?" she asked with a wide grin, her tail wagging to and fro wildly.

"Hehe,thank you very much.It feels so diffrent being...tall...I don't have to crack my neck trying to peer up at everyone now." She chuckled slightly.
She flicked her ear sharply to dislodge a fly.
"It's great to see you to,friend" She replied."Oh,here and there.Laying by the ruins mostly,and running through the birch forest.I love hills and tall grass"
She was about to mention talking with her statue friend,but the doe kept her mouth shut about that.It was probably deemed insane talking to a non-living object.No one needed to know.

The doe laughed softly at Awentia's response. "I feel the exact same way! It's nice to be able to make eye contact with those you had to look up to see," she replied with a grin. At the mention of the Ruins, running and hills, Uruu's smile broadened. "Indeed! It seems that we have a lot in common. The Ruins fascinates me; I absolutely love visiting it."
She paused for a moment, looking as if she were contemplating something, and then gave another small laugh. "You know, you will undoubtedly find this a little crazy, but I once saw a ghost there. I was lying beside the headstones, and this ball of light just...came to me. It stayed with me for a while, but it was warm and welcoming. I...I can't explain why, but I wasn't frightened. I was more comforted than anything. Maybe that's why I feel so attached to the old place; I don't see why others find it unnerving." She smiled a little apprehensively; maybe it wasn't wise to bring that up, but then again, conversation is conversation.
"Oh yes! Making eye contact
She listened intently as Uruu began explaining her experiance in the ruins,her ears pricked forward.Her head rose up slightly in fasination.
"That is really cool,yet mysterious at the same time.I did not know ghost still roam around there,but mabye I have not been looking hard enough.I'm very fascinated by the spirits,I've always wanted to meet one but...they are still from the dead.I can't help getting chills when I think about meeting them"
She looked down slightly,self concious all of a sudden.

At Awentia's interested and unexpectedly casual reply, Uruu let out a quiet sigh of relief. Sometimes she spoke her mind much too quickly, but it seemed that Awentia didn't give a second thought to Uruu's sanity, or lack thereof. That was definitely a good sign!
"Indeed, and I will not lie: I did have chills, but not out of fear. It is only natural for us as living beings to react in such a way to the dead. Death is such a frightening and mysterious concept to us, and I suppose that is why most of us dread seeing spirits. But, I am sure you will be visited by one in time. They appear on their own accord; it is only when you stop looking that they reveal themselves to you," Uruu replied with a smile, but it soon disappeared when Awentia's demeanor suddenly changed.
Gingerly, Uruu touched her muzzle to Awentia's crown in a comforting gesture. "Are...are you alright? I hope that what I said wasn't discomforting..."

"Oh,yes I agree.I believe if you are in tune with this world,or have a sense of your ancestors,they will be..drawn to you.Death is frighting,yes.But thats probably because most of the living don't know what that world is like.It's unknown territory.We want to remian in our comfort zone here." She smiled a she ended her sentence.Feeling proud of her answer.

The response was a bit of a surprise; Uruu did not expect this very friendly doe to be like her in terms of communication. Giving Awentia a gentle nuzzle in return, Uruu replied, "I...I understand, actually. It has been a while since I have had a more serious discussion with someone else as well. I'm very glad that we've crossed paths again."
She then smiled reassuringly and tipped an ear, nodding. "Everything you said is absolutely true. Of course, it's natural of us to fear the unknown. How can we not? We've never been there, and therefore we do not know what awaits us there. I am not sure why spirits are drawn to me, however, since I don't know of my ancestors. I guess there are some things we will never understand, or were not meant to."
Uruu couldn't help but grin as Awentia beamed proudly. Indeed, it was as if she were looking at her own long-lost twin sister. Her ears flicked gently, and she raised her head a little to test the air. A glint in her eye appeared at the scent of impending rain, but at the same time, she prayed to the gods that there would be no lightning or thunder.
