Forced into darkness,

The creature begins a metamorphoses. Memories manipulate into forgotten folklore.

With haste, the creature begins his work, sculpting, crafting.

Forging his name in fire and with it a slipping identity.

Creating permanence as time ticks by, waiting to be engulfed into endless darkness,

He gathers his name into a permanent identity.
But the lock will remain open. It has no key.

It would be a shame to bind him here forever.

Kind of how Silence managed to get into the forest without forgetting who he was.
