My RP Blog

Seed's picture
Yeah, I figured I would give it a shot. Unless you have a specific scenario in mind, these'll likely just be little random scenes with one of my deer and however many of your deer you want. If you want to do an RP through another system (email or messenger or something), just let me know, I'll be happy to do so. So, if you wanna RP with one of my deer, post here saying which deer you'd like, and we can start something. I'm not sure how I'll keep this organized, but I'll do my best.

My Active Deer (links to their bios if they have them):
Seed:(X)
Hyacinth:(X)
Krim: (X)

...Yeah. I don't know how to close this out. Post if you wanna RP. But, as a head's up, I only RP my deer as deer. If I wanted to play humans, I would make up new human characters for it.

He saw the role he was being

He saw the role he was being asked to fill: he was supposed to find what Scape would do. Scape, or at least the version in his head that Seed consulted for help when convenient, would probably just say that it needs saying, and you wouldn't get anything done by standing still. Seed agreed with the Scape in his head, and was willing to say so.

"Well...I think you can either be safe, or be brave. If you're safe, you lose nothing -- nothing but opportunity. And opportunity is like an unopened oyster -- maybe you'll find nothing, but the pearls you can find are true treasures. With bravery, you could lose a lot, and that's no lie. But... Love is an act of courage -- it's striking past the dragon of your weakness and doubt and fear to try and gain the treasure it keeps from you."

He began to walk along, contemplating the smell of the air. The dragon metaphor was an apt one, to him. He knew the dragon well, and he was, in his own little ways, facing it in his own relationship. He turned his head and added, softly,

"...Its treasure is worth more than the standard fare for beating a dragon, if you can earn it -- half a kingdom pales in comparison. I would tell her, the moment you had the moment. After all...You may regret telling her, but you will regret not telling her. "

@Pega: She looked at him,

@Pega:
She looked at him, what he was saying sinking in. She blinked, once or twice. She wasn't a fool -- she knew what he was getting at. But her brain sorted through the reactions slowly. Should she be dissapointed, because he would never, ever love her? (she never had a chance...) Should she be upset that he lied for so long? (she never had a chance...) Should she be gentle, and find some way to thank him for the truth?.... And she had never had a chance. It had never been her fault, her brain insisted. It had nothing to do with her!

She began to laugh, cautiously at first, but with a growing relief. A part of her had always thought she was at fault -- that if she were calmer or more composed or prettier, that rainy day could have gone different. But it wasn't that at all. Her giggles rose up like water from a hidden spring. Then she looked, and saw that he may not understand what she meant, her laughter dying away.

Hyacinth's spring-green eyes met his, quiet and gentle. She shook her said softly, making the little laughing noise again -- she wasn't laughing at him. She stopped and bobbed her head once, with a little gracious tilt to it. She understood. Back, long ago, that sort of thing was not unexpected. She was named, she knew, both for a flower and for a boy beloved of a god. So the whole issue was not an issue for her. Just a relief.

He could feel her stare at

He could feel her stare at him, assuming she understood what he meant. He felt bad for having waited so long to say something, but what was done, was done. And that was that.

Toukan certainly didn't expect her to start laughing, though.

He blinked, turning back to the doe, mildly startled. Had he broken her? he couldn't help but wonder. But wait. That wasn't hysterical laughter. Or it didn't seem like it.

Finally, she stopped, meeting his ice-blue gaze. His expression still held confusion at the sudden outburst, ears giving a twitch when another laugh bubbled up. They soon perked up, realization dawning on his face.

It was as if a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders. But he still felt the need to apologize.

"This..." He frowned at himself, pawing the ground as he looked away, trying to figure out what he wanted to say. Finally, he looked back. "I didn't mean to keep quiet about this for so long." He sighed. "I hadn't even told my best friend until recently," he added, to show that she hadn't been the only one left out of the loop so to say.

Oh, ignore my last post

Oh, ignore my last post then... X3;

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to respond with at this time...
