Something is wrong.
My head feels funny, and I am bothered by the most peculiar things. The butterflies bring me no joy as their brightly colored wings fold and stretch before my eyes. I roll in the flowers, to feel something, yet I find my mind wandering, staring up at the tree tops and letting the light sting my eyes as it filters down through the canopy. I find seclusion in the forest of white-barked timber. I search out the old ones, whose trunks have grown thick, and I hide myself within them, strangely content to not be seen.
This isn’t me.
So many apologies I’ve been making lately. So many promises of a better tomorrow. And then tomorrow comes…and I find myself in an even deeper state. I greet my friends, do my best to put gusto into the meeting, but I find my energy is waning, and I’m far more content to stand back and watch the fun unfold around me than to be a part of it. My friends do not understand…I couldn’t possibly expect them to ‘ither, for I myself do not understand what has come over me. They look at me expectantly, as though I am their leader…and I am lost. I haven’t the voice to tell them to go on without me, to pay me no mind. They seem saddened…and I myself cannot ask why.
I do not greet strangers in my usual forthright nature. In fact, I find myself being overwhelmed by others lately. Perhaps that…SS character has made me nervous of others. Just today I found myself panicking amongst a group of overzealous stags. I found myself…angry. Despite running from them, shaking my head and cowering from their spell games, they would not leave me alone. I tried to run away, and yet I was torn, for my friends were among the group. They did not understand my torment. They would not follow, and I feel ashamed for expecting them to. Why should I ruin their fun?
Some strange darkness has fogged my mind, one I cannot seem to shake…

Sorry for the melancholy…ness. I’m a bit out of sorts, and my poor deer is suffering with me it seems v_v
Anyways…I wanted to make a proposal! I think we should come up with a way to communicate with one another. As some of you have seen I added a little action Key to Darcy’s profile last time, and I think it’d be really interesting to see if we could actually make a universal key. I find myself getting confused about what other deer are trying to get across, and my attempts too seem to be met with a of confusion. I know there is already a thread in the Forums that has something to do with this…But those were really just basic “What the emotes mean”, and frankly I think they mean something different to everyone. So…yes, I thought it would be an interesting idea if we could put together something like that…I think itd definitely get us a bit more organized in the forest!

so, i think to make a long story short, scraping the ground means "Hey, can you give me..." or "Hey, look at this!" or even, "Hey, WAKE UP!" XD

The action Key I have on Darcy's profile:
Paws at the ground, turns, and trots off: He wants you to follow him.
Paws at the ground, then tilts head: If a deer is laying down, this means "What you laying around for?", if standing up this means "What do you want to do?" or "take the lead"
Postures, rears, paws at ground, nods head: "Lets play fight!"
Tilts head, sad emote, tilts head again: "What are you sad about?"
Lays down: While he 'can' just be resting, it can also mean his human had to step away from the computer a moment. Please don't get impatient if we don't respond right away ^^
As you can see these are more combinations that get a little more specific. I was thinking maybe we could come up with someone that says 'lets play ___" or something, or maybe a combo of actions that tell other deer to form a line dance -giggle-
BUT we should definately make a new thread for it...I probably should have done that in the first place I guess

But ofcourse I guess not everyone is as good as deer-language as the other.. But I think a lot of things are universal allready, the most deer understand what you mean.
But there are also a lot that don't go on the forums, and I think that it doesn't make a lot of difference because those wouldn't know what you'd mean if you'd make some complicated move which had been declared on the forums as.. Something XD..
I had a time in which I felt bad too, and Seele was feeling along. So I get the problem.. Don't worry Darcy, everything will be fine ^^.. As long as you got friends to cheer you up and you let them, it'll be fine.

we do need a key, like maybe a little more variety in expressions so that we can use combinations of them to tell each other stuff. Almost like building up a sentence. I know that we definitely need a button to say goodbye to someone. If I need to get out of the forest because real life is bugging me to come back to it, I can't figure out a polite way to leave. I don't want to just run off, but so far all I can do is like,... bow..... and then I trot off so it doesn't look like I'm running away :/
Though the cool thing is, we are almost, like, building this game along with the creators. They take care of all the technical stuff, and we are building the society. Like right now we are trying to create a universal language.
I dunno I just thought that was pretty awesome how the players get to help create the world the game takes place in C:
