WARNING: SMALL RANTISH THING AHEAD!
Alright you guys. I thought I'd write a little something about the fight today, past fights, and future fights. No names will be mentioned and I ask none would be in the comments as a common respect. c: Thank you. If I see any rude comments between one another this will be deleted immediately.
First to the deer who like to attack random deer. It is rude. I know you are role-playing but, randomly attacking deer is going to far. This needs to stop. I suggest people read Tera's wonderful guide located here. I will say this again 'Fawns are often new players, it is rude to attack them!". Imagine you were a new player and a deer would not stop annoying and attacking you! Would you want to continue playing? Probably not. This does not mean you should randomly attack long time members either. I think you should never randomly attack deer. And this is coming from someone who likes violence. And if you really do want to fight can you at least be realistic. Your not super deer. So after 10 deer have been mauling you maybe you could stop. Yet sometimes you can not which leads me to my next point.
Next I would like to the address the deer who get involved in these fights. I realize your trying to stop these fights and that is great! But attacking the deer usually does not stop the fights, it actually encourages the offender. So when a large group of deer are chasing a round another one 'fighting' it causes quite a large commotion. Especially for deer who do not want to be involved. Also it seems more and more deer join. Stop and think about it. Your encouraging the fight. I'm not saying you should not defend yourself just when the group gets large, stop. Then the fight will stop.
I'm not saying everyone will agree with me. I'm not asking people to. These are just some thoughts. c: <3

A great view point that sums

A great view point that sums up everything that needed to be said. I've one thing to add to the point you made about other deer trying to break up fights by fighting the aggressor. If the deer runs away, don't chase them! When you do that, you become the aggressor and are in turn harassing someone. Lead by example, a stern head shake can to wonders!

i'm agree with you but...

i'm agree with you but... its bad protect fawns when the violent deer don't understand that is bad attack the new players?
I know that we lower us to its level upon hunting it of that way. ... but if there is not another form? It is not pleasant, in a game as TEF, to have to an follower that only seeks you to attack you.

I think you should try to ignore attackers, maybe then they'll get bored and stop. Of course it's very annoying if you're having a good time or a sweet moment in the Forest and this.. well sorry... idiot starts attacking you for no reason. But maybe giving them little to no attention is the best option.

yeah, having a fun romp ruined or a calm walk cut short is always a huge pain...and ignoring is a good last resort, I've also found simply standing and shaking my head works as well. I'm not fighting or running, just letting them no I'm not amused.

I stopped some fighting today just by constantly getting in the way and dancing. Don't take them seriously at all and they'll usually give up the act. xD

That could work Tera, but I've learned that some people like attention, whether it's positive or negative attention. So getting a response, even if it's angry or a headshake, may encourage them to go on. Just because they got a response and like it. That's how many of our minds work. You often see that with dogs and children. xD

EDIT: Although I must say, Ephra's method is very effective too. I can imagine people going like: 'WTF is this' and quit. XD

Good to adress the good-doers too, because going on a rampage and keeping on CHASING the "evil deer", is not going to stop anything either. I've seen "bad deer" run off and being followed by a huge group. It runs off, it's over. Stalking it won't stop it.
And dancing REALLY works <3 And buttonmashing. And standing through them. 8/ XD

Well that was the biggest

Well that was the biggest thing I noticed yesterday. I was dancing and deer were shaking there heads and then chasing the offender! Then more joined and more... and moreee.... and moreeee... It was ridiculous!
