YEAH SO I dunno if it's just the lack of energy or what but I feel like shit. And somehow I know this might cheer me up. |D SO HERE WE ARE. Pick whomever you like, deer can be chosen multiple times. Tell me if you want human or deer and we'll go from there. -rolls around-

Tuna is decent. Old connections have been taxing her, but her life's going pretty well otherwise.

Aeros is just fine.

Oz is pleasant - however, he's being troubled by Des's frequent company, as he wants to find out if she is a human or not.

[CHAPTER ONE. -never writes the proper amount- :<]

Beside her feet kicking up woodchips and the soft humming of a tune, there was little other noise than the rush of wind passing through the barren playground where she sat, swinging gently. Across the soccer field was a road where cars drove by; a red one, a silver one, a green one, a white one…
She sighed dramatically and dragged one of her worn and undersized shoes through the woodchips again, spelling out the letter D in the dirt underneath. Her dulled green eyes stared down, cheek resting against the cold chain supporting her swing. It has been painfully boring ever since she was liberated from the stuffy and crowded shelter earlier that morning while nearly everyone was still asleep, she had grabbed her white backpack stuffed with various belongings, stolen a few pieces of fruit, and slipped away as she was notorious for. She didn’t view it as “running away”, but more like growing tired of the pitiful environment and being cast into the same grouping as everyone else- homeless. She preferred to think of it as simply “houseless”, the city was akin enough to a home.
Her aimless wandering usually led her back to the same places, most frequently this school’s playground. It was off limits during the school day, with the obvious possibility of being noticed, questioned, investigated, and so on. But once the kids had gone home, the hundreds of potential friends, she would often return to her lonely place on the brightly colored equipment, passing time until the end of the day.

The air inside the nearly-empty school was cold, as most schools had a habit of possessing. Most of the hallways were deserted save for a couple of janitors. The classrooms were silent. Most of the teachers, used to this particular day of grade-entering, had finished up quickly and gone home.

A certain man didn't have much reason to return to his apartment. That was mostly why he was here. The chemistry room was silent, save for the humming of the air conditioning and the tapping of fingers on a keyboard. Oz flicked his bangs back out of his eyes and glanced out the window, over to the elementary school playground, with a sigh. It was cold, true, but he would have enjoyed being somewhere more exciting. It had been a long morning already.

Desanm looked down as her

Desanm looked down as her stomach growled, casting a troubled look on her face. She hadn't eaten since nearly 5 in the morning, and only then just barely. The two apples she had taken were going to have to last until she gave in and found yet another horrible shelter to stay at. Such was life.
Meanwhile, the swing was beginning to bore her. She got up slowly, stuffed her hands in the pockets of her orange jacket, and shuffled toward the edge of the nearby tennis court. Nestled against the chain-link fence was a lost green tennis ball. She picked it up excitedly, happy with the mere prospect of having something to do. The high brick side of the school building seemed like a good place to have a lone game of wall ball. It was better than nothing, at the very least.
The softened sounds of impact echoed off the brick with each throw, with her dodging to catch it each time. It was usually more fun with a couple of friends, but that was a lot to ask for someone with no permanent residence.
She jumped, startled, as the ball accidentally bounced off a classroom window, causing an unexpected louder noise as it repelled off the pane of dirty glass. She chased after as it rolled away, hoping nobody inside had heard. Trespassing and attempted vandalism weren't exactly things she wanted to be held over head.

Much as he would have liked

Much as he would have liked a more exciting day, Oz was not prepared for the loud bang as a rubber tennis ball slammed against his classroom window. His chair rolled back a few feet as he nearly sprang out of it, chest heaving, wide (dark) eyes staring out into the world. It took him a moment to react further. The flutter in his chest finally slowing, the massive man slipped around his chair to the window, pressing a huge palm to the glass and peering out. The playground across the street was still deserted, but by the tennis courts, there was a small figure, the only one around. She didn't seem to be moving. The dark man stared, big heart forcefully telling him off for even thinking of reprimanding the little thing.

Reemerging from underneath a low shrub, the girl tucked her hands in her pockets once more as she turned back to the side of the building. Only then did she notice that there was a face in the window she had accidentally hit, obviously looking to the outside for the perpetrator. She froze in place, knowing the person had seen her already and there was little use now in trying not to be caught. Would she get in trouble? What if they found out she was just wandering around unsupervised? Numerous questions flashed through her mind, bringing on a hint of uncertainty to the consequences of drawing attention like this.
After staring back at the figure inside for a moment, she nervously glanced away and continued on walking as in an overly inconspicuous manner. Perhaps the man wouldn't investigate the matter any farther.
