Is it really so hard?

Seriously?
Why is it so hard for someone to go OOC for just a moment to tell another deer they don't want to play? Whether it be fawns, adults, or even nameless, I just don't understand why anyone would just sit there and taunt/moo/lower their antlers at anyone because 'they're sitting too close to my deer' or 'they're getting in the way of my spell casting'.

Really?
I can understand the earlier events, I pray you know who you are, due to past events, but why does it seem like it's so hard for anyone to just stop being so serious and be nice.

I'm sorry if this hits anyone negatively, but I'm just tired of seeing adult deer scuffling over how close you can sit to each other. It's ridiculous.
I even see this with fawns!

Besides the known fawn (I also hope you know what I'm talking about), why is it so hard to simply stand up and bow to them? What if they're new players? They're going to start thinking that no one likes them!

Call me whatever you want.

I say hello to every fawn and nameless I get the chance to. In fact, I at least say hello to everybody. So to me, no, its not hard to be nice. :3

Well with Myu, I've changed

Well with Myu, I've changed it so that she at least bows and shakes her head no, implying that she doesn't want company.

With myself, I simply bow, and don't do anything else, since I'm fairly lax with company. However, if it gets to be too much, I'll just walk away. And if the deer next to me is being angry at another deer, again, I just ignore it.

That's all there is to it for me.

I just have my deer run away

I just have my deer run away if I don't want company.
Or I'll do a simple head shake no.

I will admit I get far touchier if I am trying to be nice and spell spam someone and then other deer run up in the middle and start getting in the way of the spells/spelling my deer/constantly harassing/mooing at us.

As far as I am concerned when one deer is standing getting spammed by another then they should be left alone. There are other trees you and your little friends can go get a spell off of. You don't have to be at the one where the two people trying to get a specific set are at. I have no problems using the taunt+no+moo+ lower horns to tell someone to bugger off if they keep blocking spells.

Does that mean I want to *kill* that fawn or deer? No. I want to tell them to go/scare them away.

Unfortunately, in this

Unfortunately, in this situation, I have tried to tell them to stop. To the point that it was making ME, an active player, stressed out instead of keeping it completely IC. I was OOCly becoming angry and frustrated. So I utilized it's aggressive and relentless behavior to build up on my character like myself and several others have done and role-played it out to our benefit. That way we're not affected as players. This fawn you speak of is not a new player, in fact it's the same RD that's been harassing Lust and Envy for about oh a month now? Maybe 3 1/2 weeks? Honestly, even though I use the RD as a IC building block, don't approve of it's OOC behavior. She/He knows what she's doing because they attack and then run away to feign "scared". So I'm not going to get along with everyone. Do I not have a right to choose who I will and want to play with? Especially when I know it's the same person?

I'm not asking you to get along with everyone, I'm simply asking if we could all show a little more kindness to the others.

Well then I must be confused by the point of this blog. Maybe I just took it as it was aimed at me because I know I have never raised a hoof (pffftt lame pun is lame XD) to a fawn nor any other deer I don't know. ^^ Especially to those pictos I don't recognize as I know how hard it was and slightly intimidating when you were a noob. <3

I've said this before and

I've said this before and I'll say it again: The Endless Forest is a game. It's meant to be fun, and when people start getting mad at each other in-game or in the community, it's time to take a break (unless someone crosses the line into continuous harassment--at that point, you take a screenshot and report it to Michael and Auriea).

There are things in real life that are far more important and worthy of anger directed at them.

I'm a fawn and I just started a few days ago... everyone's been really nice to me. I usually hang out with other fawns, but occasionally adult deer play with us~
