People seem to most frequently use MSN Messenger. In fact, it seems that no matter what social site I go to, people like to use MSN more than AIM. It tends to act up and disconnect sometimes, but I haven't had much trouble with it. c:

I usually download things with nothing else open, an exception maybe Google Chrome or the Internet. It wont crash and seems to go alot faster. <333
I use a slightly older version of msn, as the new one drives me completely nuts with all it's excessive information and things you can apparantly turn off. But is too much a hassle for me, ohpffff. This one works peeerfectly fine for me though.

MSN 2009 with Messenger plus. I still have XP and the newest version won't work with it. I don't like MSN but everyone's using it so I'm just dealing with it B|

If you have an MSN or Windows Live account, you can log into it and talk to people with www.meebo.com. It's the only thing I use, because I keep myself signed into AIM, Gmail, and MSN with it. I must say, though, that sometimes it dislikes group chats and can be a pain sometimes, but it's worth it to me to not have all the different tabs open for the different sites. ^^

First of all, you'll have to uninstall the msn you installed. Best way to do this, is to go to Start -> Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features.
Here, you get a list with all your installed programs. Click on Messenger, and then press uninstall at the top of the page. You may have to restart your computer.
Only when all the files are from your computer you can go and install the older version. I've made a MediaFire file for you to download, click here!. I'm pretty sure that's the older version. (If I happen to be wrong, uhm.. Well I have it somewhere! rofl)
I personally also expanded it with MSN+, because you get some fun features like drawing there. And I think it chats just a bit more uhm.. Forgot the english word. I prefer it. Click here for that file. Though it's not necressary.
