I'm confused now

I just saw an account with a new 5 gen pictogram but on the account page, it's said that it has been registered/a member for 4 years.

Here is the account I'm talking about.

How is that possible? You cannot change the pictogram of an account that was registered way before the picto gen came out, right?

Well I know that an old account can appear newer (like mine) if you ask for a username change orrr log in a long time after registering the actual account. But I don't know how the opposite could happen... huh...

Probably a glitch, or M&A were contacted to change an old account with an old picto to an old account with a Gen 5? :I

They changed their display

They changed their display name and it matched the name of an existing account.
Probably did that on accident.

I looked for an account that had the same name through Picto search but couldn't find any other pictogram than this one.

Having checked both maps, I'm pretty sure this is like pictos linking to blogs instead of profiles.

The new gen hasn't logged in yet, and when they do, they'll have the mooon-0 identifier in their profile link.

Still worth noting M&A about since there's no way to register with one username twice.
