How much sake? 2

The continuation!
Check out the first part so you're not confused.
If there's anything off grammar- or typo-wise, it's because I'm posting this in a hurry to get out of the door in time.

Pale eyes cracked open, only to quickly shut less than a second later with a groan as light assaulted them.

Tundra lifted a hand to bring to his head, frowning at the slight resistance he felt. Curiosity grew stronger than the care of making his headache worse. He cracked open his eyes again.

The frown turned confused at spotting the blanket someone must have draped over him. Had he been on the couch all night? It was a bit fuzzy...

Scrunching his eyes half-shut against the light streaming in from the window, he looked around the living room, soon finding the empty bottle of sake sitting on the coffee table.

That explained the headache. He'd never drunk before. When would he have?

The frown turned to one of thought as he tried to recall just why he would be drinking. He was sure he hadn't drunk alone...like maybe he had joined someone in drinking.

He was sure something happened. Vaguely, he could recall almost waking up before, noticing movement or shifting. Maybe that was when he'd been covered by the blanket, but that couldn't be all. He wished it wasn't so fuzzy!

He shook his head -- instantly regretting it with a groan of pain.

Ok. No sudden movements then. Noted.

Opening his eyes again, he sighed, deciding he should probably get up. Maybe he could find something to kill this headache.

He nearly tripped upon standing -- Stupid...turned foot... -- the pain in his head not helped from it.

Keeping up the slow and careful movements, he made his way to the doorway that led to the kitchen, noticing quiet voices in the middle of a conversation.

His curiosity really didn't know when to mind its own business. He stopped to listen.

"...serves you right, you know."

Suiren.

There was a grumbled response he couldn't really make out.

Sounded like Kinsha felt almost as bad as he did. Guess he found his "drinking buddy".

"Not going to make this a habit I hope."

There was a warning edge to her voice that had Tundra thinking, "Nope, not at all!"

This time he could make out the response. "You know this doesn't happen often."

"I wish it wouldn't happen at all."

There was another grumbled response, sounding almost like an annoyed "yea, yea..."

There was a pause in conversation, the silence filled with shifting and shuffling sounds from whatever Suiren was doing.

"You know...you two seemed pretty cozy last night. Something happen I should know about?"

Tundra blinked. ...what?

The ninja's sputtering was cut off by the sudden loud whirring sound of what he assumed was a blender. Kinsha was still sputtering a bit when it stopped.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Exactly what I said. Now drink this." There was a dull clink of a glass being placed on the table.

He froze at the sound of footsteps starting to head his way.

Was she coming in...? Crap, she was.

Glancing around showed no hope of escape -- the hallway that led to the bedrooms was also connected to the kitchen, leaving only the entrance to the dojo side of the building as a possibility. And that wouldn't work either unless he wanted to head outside and sneak around the house to the back door...which would also lead to the kitchen. Damn it.

Too late to consider any options, because the girl was already in front of him. She had a brow raised, but didn't seem too surprised to have found him eavesdropping. (Was that a smirk?)

Instead, she shoved a glass of something frothy and white at him that smelled a lot like bananas. "Thought you might need this. Hangover remedy," she added on at his confusion before stepping back into the kitchen.

He blinked. Then stared at the concoction in his hand. Mentally shrugging, he took a test sip.

Yep. Definitely bananas. A banana shake.

Wondering about this and supposing it tasted alright enough, he took another sip before stepping into the kitchen. He'd already been caught, so there was no use in prolonging the inevitable.

He blinked at the scene he found.

Suiren was at the counter -- yep, that had been a blender he heard before -- while Kinsha was sitting at the table with his own glass of banana shake. Except he wasn't drinking it -- he was shooting it a scrunched look like he didn't want to go anywhere near it.

"Will you drink that already?"

The corner of the ninja's mouth tugged down. "You know I don't like bananas."

"Fine. Keep your headache then."

Grumbling to himself, the blond gave in and took up the glass, finally sipping at it with a disgusted look on his face.

Tundra tried not to laugh at the scene. Already he could feel his headache ebbing a bit. This stuff definitely worked. Probably why Kinsha decided to drink it even if he hated the taste.

He noticed Suiren looking at him with a raised brow again -- that was definitely a smirk he saw this time! He looked away, hiding his embarrassment at being caught by bringing the glass up to his lips again.

Not the best way to start the day, but definitely the most amusing.
