Maybe I'm just blind to drama, but...
What the heck? People leaving left and right... or threatening/hinting to leave.
This is not just on TEF either. People I know on Deviantart are resigning as well! Heck, even the person in charge of the "Blood Sport" competition I'm in just retired.
C'mon, what's with this? Is it just the season for leaving or something?

Personally, I've been dealing with way too much IRL crap and find the internet and communitys to be my main if not only source of peace. I swear I'm about to quit my job, or explode on someone IRL. I actually had a pretty bad fight with my mother today after she basically got too... well, let's say rude... pushy... ect. Frankly, I'm under too much stress.

But this isn't about me.

It's... saddening to see the people I look foreward to seeing dissappear so suddenly.
Not just on TEF.

I mean, heck, I don't get 4 messages a week on DA anymore it seems.

I don't know what's going on... and I don't like to be ignorant to these things...
Someone just... CLUE ME IN. Geez. :/

I don't know either Zerg,

I don't know either Zerg, it's like there's some invisible shit-storm going on and all I'm picking up on is the occasional foul smelling fart! *is so confused and a little sad*

I don't know but I'm sad

I don't know but I'm sad about this too. ;^;

Tera-- Excellent analogy. C:

Nonetheless, I feel the same way as all of you. The only thing I can conjure up causing such would be the stress of spring exams. But even then... :/

It's happening in other

It's happening in other places too? O_O Jeez...
In my opinion, leaving does the opposite of solving problems.

I've noticed it too. Yeah I

I've noticed it too. Yeah I know I threatened to leave before but that was due to a lot of grief, I'm staying no matter what now because I really need this community.

I know it doesn't help but I'll be on kind of a 'vacation' for a month starting next Monday. Heading out to the western US for a 4 week long camping trip, so I won't really have internet access unless I take my laptop, but I don't know if I want to do that or just take a break from the internet for a month. But I'm not leaving, and I'll have plenty of nature pics to show off to you guys when I get back.

That's because most of it is

That's because most of it is occurring at night where I am. Most players are asleep by then, so anything "drama llama" that happens is normally not seen because everything's taken down the following day.

Despite the context, Tera

Despite the context, Tera your comment made me lol |D

People here are sometimes so silly, most of the drama is over the tiniest little things. People do realize that they are on a site that has some prevalent RP going on right? Most of the issues are because they seem to take what goes on teh interwebz as SRS BIZNESS >8C

It appears to be the new trend to throw up your hands and leave in a tiffy.

Don't even get me started on dA XD

"some n00b stole my art and put it on their livejournal! I'll never do art again! BAAW"
"Some troll said mean things to me, the whole world is against me I hate you all!!! BAAAAAAAAW"
"I don't get enough attention, everyone must hate me and what I do, I'll just give up now! BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW"

>8[ Somebody call the frickin' Whambulance.

There's a point where you just have to step back and look at how silly you're being. Now, I'm not saying that EVERYONE who leaves is being silly, some people have very legitimate reasons. And not everyone here is leaving for stupid reasons, some people just want a little vacation, and there's nothing wrong with it C: But to leave because of silly drama, seriously, you're making it look like you and all involved are in a bad soap opera. Leaving only adds to the problem, everyone gets left hanging and all riled up and upset.

Not that we could ever solve it. By basic human nature everyone believes that THEY are right, it's a self defense mechanism. Nothing can make people think differently like that. But this community is capable of amazing things. When I was feeling down and out, I didn't really expect anyone to come to my aid, I was SO wrong, a good lot of you came to make me feel better. And you all do plenty of other amazing things, and it makes me feel proud to see what the new generation of players can do.

Even though I think a lot of you to be silly and get aggravated at what you do, I think we'll all be fine, and hopefully this little tirade of hissy fits will be something we'll all laugh at soon enough.

internet drama in a nutshell.

I'd say your signature works

I'd say your signature works as a good example of internet drama as well xD

Yeah, I keep forgetting that

Yeah, I keep forgetting that Doug is there to affirm my point XDD

"some n00b stole my art and

"some n00b stole my art and put it on their livejournal! I'll never do art again! BAAW"
Oh my GOD I hate that.
It's like.. okay that happened to you one time, and you're going to let that ruin EVERYTHING?

But I digress.
A lot of people are leaving because of accumulation of experiences and bad treatment by other users. As far as I can gather.
..unless some /other/ drama happened I am not aware of.
... but the one I experienced got me upset at some people, but I most certainly didn't leave because I'm still fairly new here |D I still have blind hope, I guess!
I agree, leaving doesn't really help the community at all, but it does help the individual take some time to stand back and calm down.

I personally think this out-rash in behavior is due to a LOT of users neglecting away-from-computer-time..

(edit)
I missed that comment that it's happening elsewhere, too! How strange. I'd say it's most likely due to exams or school ending or what have you.
