Computer help.

Ok so this has been happening for a while now since I started playing TEF again on my new computer.
At first I ignored the problem but now I can't even get on the game because of this little pop up. So does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?




Any help would do. If all else fails I'll just use my old crappy computer but I rather not use it unless it's emergency cause that old thing is on its last wire.

Edit: Pfftt nope that didn't work...Think I made my computer mad though it's starting to freeze up on me.

And your firewall is allowing

And your firewall is allowing tef to connect to the internet ?
Or try to erase all the tef folders and reinstall it .

Ya it's been letting me get

Ya it's been letting me get on TEF up until today, before it was working fine with no pop up's like this.
Ok I'll try erasing all the TEF folders. Hopefully this works! :3

Edit: Nope still didn't work.

I know right stupid computer doesn't want to let me got on TEF, and ok let me see if I can figure out how to do that.

Well, I kind of have the same problem. 2 of the same thing comes up, then 1 diffrent thing comes up, but I get into it later. Try deleting the game, download the old version, delete THAT, and download new version.

Before the reboot, I was one

Before the reboot, I was one TEF and it shut me off. When I tried getting back on I kept getting those pop up's. The reboot was when you told to me to try and disable my antivirus for TEF only,
and It's ok no harm done. But I thank you for your help. Ya I even did a search on all the files in the computer to make sure. Smiling

Edit: Ok I'll try that dragon919.

Edit: It worked I can get on the game!, but I still get those pop up's.

I remember i had a ton of popups with another program ----the popups disappeared as they came ...the next day lol .

@Flyleaf. I hope it goes away soon, but It's not the end of the would if i have to do a few extra clicks here and there....But it would be better if the pop up's go away >.<

Plus I have the 3 pop ups too because I downloaded the version 3 TIMES!!!! It because the 2 times are for 3.31 version and I wanted white pelt forever, but I couldn't keep my stuff, so I dont want pelt anymore!! ^_^ sorry, confusing Puzzled

Haha it's ok you not confusing me, ya for some reason the first time I tried to download TEF on this computer it was v3.31. The version worked for about a week then the same thing happened that happened now. So I tried uninstalling the old version and installed the newer version. Every thing worked fine up until today.

Edit: @FaunGrae How do I find the program I'm using them on... Sorry if that's a stupid question xD

It looks like an antivirus problem. What one do you use? You can get a free one offline like AVG and it will help.

O it is..Ok well I use Kaspersky, not sure if I can change it since other people in my family use the same computer as me. They hate it when I change programs/things around.

I have never used

I have never used Kaspersky.... but I heard it wasn't a very good antivirus. You could ask them to change it. I assume that it was just a free trial that came with the computer?

Edit: Here's a review from my favorite PC magazine on it.

Ya it was a free trail and we ended up just keeping it, I'll ask them though. Can you suggest any good free/semi cheap antivirus software that you know of?

I personally use Microsoft

I personally use Microsoft Security Essentials, and have in the past used AVG antivirus. Both are good and both are free.

I'll have to show my family when their all awake the Kaspersky review and your suggestions. If we do end up getting one of these would it solve the pop up issue and the crashes?

I have not had any issues

I have not had any issues with anything while using them. Both are good at stopping and/or defeating viruses.

That's good, thank you for your help I really appreciate it. Hopefully we can install one of the good antivirus software now that I have an idea of which ones to look at.
