hi i`m new on the forest,i`m still a baby deer, but i chould love to know how can i do to change things of my deer,like the gender ans fur colour,please help me
Other deer can cast the pelts/antlers/masks on you. Pelt spell is given by laying by a sleeping deer. Antlers from rubbing against trees and eating cones that fall. Mask spell is gained by eating mushrooms.
Since you're a fawn you won't be able to get any of the normal spells to stick until you grow up. They'll stick on you for a little while, but then poof right out of existence. You have about a month until you grow up into an adult.
You can get the following pelts/antlers on your own:
Purple flowers: Walk into a patch of purple flowers and use the 'pick up' command to put them on your head. These will stay until you cast them on someone else or sneeze them off.
Red flowers: They're located by the crying idol. See above.
Candles: These are only around for a week or so in October/early November. They just disappeared out of the forest. They're picked up just like flowers.
If you see another deer with candles in their antlers you might be able to get them to cast their candles on your fawn. That will transfer the candles to your fawn and they are permanent until you fall in the pond or sneeze them off.
I know the users Pictodeer and Finata habitually casts their candles on other deer/fawns if they have them in.
Crying idol pelt: Run through the crying idol at the top of the river. You'll turn red. This is not permanent and you will not be able to have spells cast on you until it poofs away.
Devout pelt: use the 'pray' command at the twin god statues. You'll turn pure white and be able to cast the devout pelt on other deer for a short time.
You can't actually change the gender of your deer in the game, but if you want your deer to be a girl you can. It's all up to you what you want your deer to be.
As for changing your deer's pelt, you need to get another deer to cast a pelt spell on you (you can't cast magic on yourself). To cast pelt magic, you lay beside a sleeping deer for a few minutes (you'll hear a little bing when the time is up) and then you click the new golden action button on the action bar at the bottom of the screen.
It can be tricky getting your message across in The Forest (what with there being no words) but try finding a group of deer casting pelt spells and join in, they should understand you want to play as well.
