Chantimagne- Prince of Flowers

Chantimagne is a young stag entering the Rut as a Challenger. Rather than being focused on fighting or finding mates, Chantimagne is much more interested in getting admired for his luxurious fur and shimmering antlers. Popular for his youthful looks and chivalrous bravado, Chantimagne has a chance in this years's rut- at least at being a crowd favorite.

He will compete in the Rut, but will nobly back down from a fight if he fears dirtying his coat or damaging his prized antlers. Judges who focus on form over function will likely favor him- he's definitely in this for style points. See his full bio here.

Chantimagne walked through the forest to assess the competition and to strut around a bit. He got into one warm up match and then a proper sparring match with Ison, much to the glee of Graceanne. Limaria acted as judge, and seemed rather impressed with his performance.

10/4/2017
Today, Chantimagne had a couple of good spars. Sparred with Haroten and then a few stags, and then spent some time with Jude and Steini. After a match with Fletcher, he decided to take a break out of concern for damaging his antlers.

Eldroth- Ghost of Flames

Eldroth is a stag of legend, felled by age and risen again to life by fire that burns within him. He is looking to enter the Rut for the sake of the sport of it. While he may not be very quick as younger competitors, he's an experienced champion who knows how to conserve his energy and to use his strength to its full effect. After a confrontation, he must take a considerable amount of time to rest.

While he generally presents a tough persona, Eldroth actually is rather reserved and prefers to keep to himself, causing him to come off as aloof. Though he is a hell-forged beast, he's secretly a big softie,

Eldroth spent a lazy evening in the forest. He spent some time with Idelle and played around by the cemetery with the statues. For some reason, he decided to eat a butterfly in an attempt to get an extra life Spyro the dragon style. Later, he found Jude and the two of them took a long nap.

Shortly after he awoke, Eldroth faced off against Fletcher, and seemed to have impressed UY with his efforts. He stuck around to rest and make friends with the small herd gathered there- Easca, Liathe, Phymi, and a small red deer sorry I couldn't find your name D:. He sat and awaited any challengers who might approach, but only met another deer who wanted to join the herd- Ake. They danced for a bit and then rejoined the snuggle pile.

Sulwyn- Witch of Starlight

Sulwyn is a witch who draws her magical powers from the stars. To her, the Rut represents a social opportunity to make friends. She acts as a judge purely because she enjoys watching other deer compete- not because she is looking for a mate. She tends to admire those who compete with wit and agility rather than brute strength.

Though Sulwyn normally avoids large social gatherings, something about festivals and holidays gets her feeling cheerful and friendly. She likes to socialize, give gifts, and interact with others; particularly fawns draw her interest. See her full bio here.

Sulwyn entered the forest, looking to celebrate and make friends. She sat with a large herd next to her friend Jude, and then watched Shardul and Nikhil spar playfully. Played with Firyn and Duva. Then, cheered on Firyn in a match. Went with Jude for a stroll and then found Nemesis long time no see!

Neysha- Child of the Woods

Neysha is a young fawn, fearful but curious about the workings of the rut. While she may watch festivities from afar, she is more likely to run off if she sees a conflict brewing. Really, she is hoping to overcome some of her social insecurities and to gain some experience interacting with others.

Owing to her polymelia, Neysha does not move very much or very quickly. She is quite clumsy and easily startled. For that reason, she doesn't like being "rushed" by new deer- give her time to get used to your deer before sniffing or cuddling her. Ney is a very new char, and does not yet have a bio.
