Personality

Andromeda loves hanging out, even with complete strangers. He hasn't made very many friends, so that's a pretty good trait. When he's in a large group, he often starts flirting with a lot of the stags. He doesn't even care if they're straight or not, he'll do it anyway just for fun. He's not very proud of his antlers, or lack there of, and is scared of even play fighting. He loves to star-gaze, and knows almost all of the constellations. Thanks to his sharp eyesight, he can spot any of them almost instantly. He's bisexual, but greatly prefers stags, which makes it hard for him to find anyone to really connect to. That makes him a bit lonely, but he knows how to shake it off.

History

Andromeda was born into a very large herd. He was a member of one of the higher-ranking families, the Solaris clan. He bore the most resemblance to his father, and was first in line for his father's position when the time came. The herd believed in productivity, meaning every stag for every doe. This rule meant growing strength for the herd, and same sex pairs were not tolerated.

He grew up normally, except that he did'nt grow antlers at all. His lack of antlers got him picked on by the larger stags and older fawns, and made him feel a little miserable. He managed to cover it up with flowers, but it didn't help much when he got older. But by then, he had grown to love flowers on his head. He was educated in a class of all stags. He didn't spend a lot of time around doe's, which was probably the worst mistake they could've made. Because he only hung around stags, he quickly realized he was attracted to them. Andy knew that wasn't normal, but he couldn't fight what he knew was true. He also knew he wasn't alone.

The herd leader's son, Betelguese, was in his class. He was Andy's first crush, and soon, his first love. Betelguese found that he felt the same way about Andromeda, which led to a long-running secret relationship. One of Andy's friends, Vega, knew about this, but she never said anything. She was Andy's only doe-friend. But even though she kept her secret, the herd leader soon found them out.

Betelguese was kept in the herd, but severly punished and kept under heavy security. Andromeda was banished, sent off in any direction he wished. Andy wandered for months, alone, with no one to talk to or make friends with. There wasn't any sign of other deer anywhere. He soon stumbled across another herd, where he met his second love. They could be more open, which gave them a longer relationship. However, the parents of his lover made a threat on his life, and soon almost acted on it. They knew they couldn't be together anymore.

Heartbroken once more, Andromeda left, facing many more months in solitude. When he thought it couldn't get any worse, he managed to find the Endless Forest. He saw deer that didn't seem to mind the fact that he didn't have antlers. They didn't care about his past, and treated him like one of their own. He even found a few couples that were same-sex couples. He knew he had found his home now. His true home. Nothing about him would get him kicked out of here. Maybe he could finally find his mate for life here.
