First off, I had a good time playing with everyone tonight! Thanks!

Shortly after I woke up, I came upon Kaoori sleeping alone in the rain. Feeling protective, I sat close to her to keep her warm in the cold, rainy night.

Redkora/I was musing about how young Kaoori (and many of the other deer) is compared to him, hence the feeling of protectiveness. He has been around a long time, and he has seen many changes come to pass.

...but the Forest always is.

Jizo very much enjoyed playing with you both, I would very much like to know who you both are! The picto circled in red was a fawn who acted very much like a little apprentice, knowing exactly what Jizo was doing, and when she was doing it! And knew how to help as well! Who are you? And if you are still an actual fawn, you know a LOT of stuff about the forest already, great job and excellent communication skills!
