Big meaning behind the title.
Toukan (reindeer) was born in a zoo, but he didn't like being kept fenced in, so one day while he was still young, he escaped by jumping a lower, damaged, section of the fence. Unfortunately, he didn't judge the height very well, so his leg got caught. It healed, but not very well, leaving him with a permanent limp. The leg pains him from time to time, especially if overused. Normally he tries to look on the bright side of life and not let his disability get to him, but on some days, it's hard to avoid, when his friends are all running around and he's finding it hard to keep up.
Based on actual in-Forest events.

As part of the Fan-Art-a-Thon I get to draw some of my favorite Deer here. This week's Deer was Blackhoof who has always been very kind to myself and my Stag, Syltar.

Also, I've always wondered if the candles extinguish themselves when the Deer are sleeping....

The forest is full of very unique looking characters nowadays.
It's a shame many of them don't get as much fan-art as they should.

Well anyways, me again drawing and practicing stuffs.
Sorry for slaughtering Jasper. The picture isn't very good but I thought you might want it anyways despite the wonky anatomy.

Sorry for the crapness, but you know me arm is still not at it's best, and I stupidly tried to use a new technique, so yeah.... -fail-

Actually, I genuinely want to know (from anyone) if this technique looks like one I should pursue. Genuinely, please. Don't say it's better than other stuff if you don't think. It's nice, but unfortunately not helpful.
