Waxwing // a quick concept sketch.

I decided to draw up something quick so that I could get a feel for Waxwing's concept. I'm not sure how I feel about what I did for his tail or antlers, so I'd love some feedback/ideas!

also, I did this in about an hour, so forgive the quality, please! I was more focused on the actual idea, rather than the drawing itself. :3

Fawn Concepts

Rather than setting up the bio for my male character(who's been an in-forest character with no bio up until now), I've vouched for making some fawn concepts. Have a poorly drawn duck-fawn because ducklings and fawns are adorable. And also a baby version of a concept i've done a while ago. Under cut to see.

Started drawing this as a style exercise a couple days ago, trying to make myself draw Herla differently than I normally do, then after Neela got in trouble today it seemed especially perfect so it got commandeered for that purpose. Wanted to draw a Gehirn in there too but my Gehirn drawing ability seems to have withered and died. Along with any attempt at a background. >.>

Neela can’t talk. But she’s very expressive none the less.

Nothing special or anything....But...Being a sucky artist I'm pretty proud of myself. xD This is just for a up-coming character once I hit 1 month. Why the link? Cause I'm a noob and been to fixing my scanner to changing the extension and I just gave up. Maylbe I'll fix it one day. >.> <.< The one on the left is Nyla the right is Myla.

The Great Red Dragon

Absolutely no thought to anatomy whatsoever /o/

Based on idea FishBiscuit and I chatted about in this thread, a quick and dirty concept design of Francis Dolarhyde/The Red Dragon, who is a psycopathic, schizophrenic murderer in the Hannibal Lecter universe.

This is only going from the book by Thomas Harris, as opposed to the Man Hunter/Red Dragon films, which I have yet to (but really want to) see. If I were ever to play him, which I am very tempted to do, he'd probably go under major design tweaking, or most likely complete redesign, so this time was completed wasted, huzzah!

Boar concept on tef deer and real deer sketch

The idea for this was using a colour not seen in the forest a slate gray gradient pelt laced with gold markings.

Heres also an idea of what they would look like on a real deer
