Concept

so this is Vessel, a second deer that i hope to get. it wont be for a looooong time though. his set is comprised of the butterfly antlers, the kirin pelt, and the noh mask.

Vessel is a depressio, hes absolutely not a fan of big groups, parties, or fawns. if you run around him trying to get him to play, he'll only stand there and wait for you to stop. if you want him to dance with you, he'll shake his head no and wait for you to stop. if you want him to join a group or party, he'll just stand there XD

he doesnt like to socialize with too many deer. and he only really speaks to does and stags. he's very quiet around fawns, and gets easily annoyed by them. he'll hang around up to three deer and one fawn. if either of those gets higher (like more than one fawn, or more than three deer) he'll leave. fortunately, he's polite. he wont just abruptly leave someone, he'll bow curtiously and then leave.

Vessel is constantly followed by little animals (at least i wish. they wont do that in the game i imagine XD) he doesnt really like it, because he usually wants to be alone and all these birds and squirrels are gathered around him. its hard for him to sleep because of the noise.

Vessel is not blind, those are just how his eyes are. but he is mute. a genetic thing, hes unable to use his voice. he can make a quiet growling noise from time to time, if he gets too annoyed with something, but otherwise he cant speak. he has the ability to intrude on some deers dreams. only some, he cant get into most deers minds. if you see him in your dream, he can speak to you. sometimes its good, sometimes its just scary. (dont worry, youll only get him in your dreams if i get your permission X3 you probably wont want him in there anyway) he can only access dreams though, and only when he's asleep too. hes not telepathic or anything.

Okay, okay, so the body shape and stuff is not right, (the wolf mask is a li'l bit to big and I haven't drawn deer before) but I was concentrating on the design. The wolves body marks look rushed, but not that rushed actually, I need help with the body, perhaps a little few ideas. (You can edit my image if you want) If you don't like the dream catcher, you could always just use the feather antlers.

Oh! I forgot to add, that the red line represent the ribs, the yellow lines on the belly represent speed. The yellow lines near the reer represent being able to put up with the wind, stamina. The yellow swirls at the front represent strength, and the leg ones are just to represent joints. XD The facial ones are like native american paint marks.

Now time for the bad news and good news, the bad news is: I'm stuck on paint ~ for now. The good news is: I might be downloading GIMP soon (it's free!) so no more sloppy paint art! (|I grew out of it ages ago)

One of the concepts I've been pretty fond of. If you're wondering abouty the title, yes, my inspiration was a sea slug...which I believe is called the Flamingo-tongue? They don't really have any feelers though so I had to borrow the antler/feeler idea from another. I've noticed the 'pointier' or longer masks seem to be the most popular, so...I think we need more! XD

I started playing around in Photoshop and it turned into a deer.

I really like this style I chose. And I decided I will draw the different personaities of the forest. Its gonna take a ong time, I know, But i think it would be cool. Please Tell me if you like the style, and how I could improve them!

The first one is Meh! XD And the second one is Twenty-One. I find her peaceful, when she is not impersonating Walter XD! Oh and if you have a kinda request for yours personality go ahead and post it

...............I did it again.

I couldn't help it...Phantom turned out so cool I just had to see what some of my other characters would look like. So I roughly (stress on ROUGHLY) sketched and colored it....I was just like......scribbling to pass the time x3

Nightshade-typically an Arabian horse, and he somehow turned into an antelope instead of a deer
XD My scanner killed his horns, and I didn't have the patience to make new ones D:
Excalibur-doesn't look too different from his normal self X3 He's typically a unicorn.....with a
swearing problem.
Darren-his nose got cut off -_-; He doesn't look too different either.....he's a species I made up and they have horse, dragon,cat, and a lot of deer influence. He's a fun character, he's neurotic and paranoid x3

Phantom-what are you talking about? He is a deer, can't you see the antlers?
He's saying, "Very funny Cato."

Koda-is camouflaging himself XD not much to him, just white with some red on him. He is another species I made up that has feline and canine influence in it.

Cato-the only girl up there. She's typically some kinda......liger.....thing.......I dunno what she is, she's crazy X3

Loki-my favorite from up there. He's usually a house cat. He needs his glasses to read ^-^ I had fun making his antlers.....can't you tell X3 If you can't tell what he's saying, it's "Riveting"

The request pic has been drawn up, i just need to ink and color, which the way i'm planning to do it, will take a while. But I must put it aside for a bit, I have a contest entry for the VissionaryAssassin's club I'm in......it's due sunday D: *flees*

I was just bored and planning out the request pictures, and I got to thinking about my character Phantom. I thought "hmmm....what would he look like as one of the endless forest gang?"

So now, this demon horse has now become a demon stag. Typically he does have a nose and a mouth baring lotsa pointy teeth, but I stylized him a little. And he keeps his mane and tail because I like it :3

I encourage you all to run for your lives now...........he eats meat ^-^
