Caught in a Downpour

I've been wanting to draw this picture since we had the rain, Herla all soaked and miserable, her feather mantle usually pert and fluffy, now plastered down and pathetic looking.

Plus, emo Herla just can't be denied.

Experimenting with cell shading. I dunno. I think it just looks kind of messy @_@

So I put more heat on my artwork and got out of cartoonish paintings

. Now, what do you think? What looks better, the doe with the antler light fog or without it? Oh, and what do you think about these?
