A creature hath entered the forest...
His form is that of a dappled young stag, and above his brow, float the betrodden symbol of his kind.
His eyes glance upon you, through you, away. His task is unbeknownst to all but the mammalian beasts flying 'round. His vision, it is lacking. For though the flying beasts that feed upon the fruited vegetations have blessed sight...he is of those that draw dewdrops of the purest, crimson red, iron-thick and oozing down pelts and feathers alike.
Click, clitter, you may hear as he glides through the forest. Do not be tricked by the sound. His hooves...they never grace the ground. The dust from tripping...it is simply an aura twisting 'round his hoovetips, settling him back into the darkened sky, that he shall never see.
The water, it burns him. He nips at the butterflies, those foul little insects. And faes...what are they to him?
They don't deserve to be graced by his elegance, holding his head up high above all others, antlers drawing blood from his back, dripping down his neck, his legs, onto the wet dewen grass below him.
