Quad's Music Chart!

This post is a little pointless, but I just finished going over EVERY BAND I listen to, separating all their genres, and figuring out how much of everything I listen to.

I did this once before, and this was the original result:

Originally I had a separate chart for various kinds of Rock. This time, I decided not to do that and to have one pie slice just for bands labeled 'rock', and added a half of a value for bands that were 'pop rock', 'punk rock', ect.

So anyway, here's the new list. You'll notice some new genres have been added, including funk, reggae, and indie:

I also made a spreadsheet showing the differences since then:

As you can see, my generic rock has increased while my metal has decreased about the same. My hard rock has decreased greatly while my alternative and post grunge has increased. Punk stayed the same, and then there are various changes including increases in funk, reggae, and indie.

It looks like I've made a shift from louder music to softer music. That's my interpretation.

Also for Jen, here's my rock chart:

If you compare this chart to the original one at the top, my rock has actually gotten a lot more diverse! I'm not just listening to a lot of rock, I'm listening to a lot of different rock!

Anyway, it was fun to figure out. I'm starting to get more into other genres, while still listening to a lot of rock as well. Eye

Um, is it just me?

Everytime I post a reply to anywhere, I get this message afterwards: "warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at blaa blaa blaa)"
All my replies are sent, and they show likt thay should. But is there a way to make the warning stop? Or am I doing something wrong?

Quad's Candid Camera - 4/24/09

Just had a lot of fun with a bunch of fawns! Let me know if you're in these screenshots - I'd love to know who Quad was hanging out with!

These were the first two I ran into.

We mostly hung around the pinecone trees and cast antler spells on each other. It was really fun. Eye

Then little by little more fawns showed up.

You'll notice that Quad is laughing in a lot of these pictures. Eye

Saying goodbye to one of the fawns that left.

Laughing chain reaction....

.... Laughing out loud ....

.... Eye ....

Then more people showed up!

At the end some stags showed up. I helped one get a set, and later ran into Io Rez! I was a little tired, so I just logged off, but I had a lot of fun with those fawns XD

Psst ...come here.. I have a lil' secret fot you...

....today's my birthday. Nothing relay that special, just thought I'd post it here.

Preview of my Project Greenleaf Store... (Psst, Jen! XD)

I'll let you know that I had A LOT of help with this first one, but the next one will be entirely done by me under supervision. Anyway....

This will be heading Jen's way free of charge, and the next ones will be up for sale. What I may do is make most of the bag, show a picture of the design, and then whoever buys I'll put their picto on at the end. I hope this goes well, too - it will not only give those who buy them a burly pretty bag to carry around, but will also help with Tale of Tales' funding (as well as give me some much needed experience with my mom's sewing machines). By the way, I'm an absolute spaz over camouflage, so I plan for all of them to be made out of camouflage fabric.

More info on these will be available soon, maybe after I start working on them. I haven't decided on a price yet but that will be determined later on.

So Jen, this will be heading your way soon. Smiling

Around the forest in just one day and wierd rhymes

I would walk the bridge and splash in the pond
Jump in the stream and wave a magic wand
Turn someone i knew into a frog
And sing christmas carols while eating eggnog
Run around the ruins and dance with a mate
Go to the twilight hour, hurry, i don't want to be late!
Wear funny masks and change my pelt
Go aroud the forest and remember how it smelt
Listen to the birds high in the trees
And take of the pelts i don't want with a sneeze
Look at the view on top of the maze of stones
Dodge all the trees like they were traffic cones
Also go through some of the trees too
And catch the white dust that is so little and few
So that is what i would do if i just had one day
But one more thing i would do is just have a blast and play!
Done all that, but have you? Txx

A Fawn

I've just started, and so far I find the atmosphere relaxing, the Endless Forest seems to bring a smile to my face or a chuckle at various deer antics. Despite the simplicity and minimalistic feel to the game, and once getting over the lack of chatting in words, I haven't gotten bored yet.

Today I walked, meandered, strolled with an adult deer. Every so often another would walk with us. Every so often we would jump, mimicking each other. There's a certain sense of camaraderie there.

I think this will be the place I go when I need to chill out and calm down.

Walmart's Soundcheck - Risers

Walmart has got something pretty cool going on. They're working with some new bands who are trying to become known, so there is a section in the CDs called 'Soundcheck - Risers' where these bands are featured. Out of curiosity, I picked up a few of them, and am happy to say that they're pretty cool bands!

The first band I listened to was Thriving Ivory. At first I didn't know what I thought about them - they were a little different than I was used to. I soon learned they were inspired by bands such as U2 and Coldplay, and so that places them as an Alternative band. In addition, they are considered to be Indie, which I'm trying to get into (So far the only indie bands I listen to are Interpol and The Killers). I really love their song, Angels on the Moon, and can't wait to hear more from them.

The second band I listened to was The White Tie Affair. I first heard their song, Candle (Sick and Tired) on youtube and fell in love with the song. The White Tie Affair is considered to be pop punk with a little electronica. Their influences include bands such as AFI and the Police, and I would also put them in the same category as bands like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco (the kind of t-shirts White Tie Affair make for merchandising are very similar to FOB's and PAtD's). This band has become a rising favorite of mine.
