The Lightbringer Code/Poem

.Forgive the bumps!
.
.
.
.
.
Let me be,
In every way,
Giving and respectful.
Honorable and
Tolorant; to
Be a soldier for Right
Right what is Wrong.
Inscribe the Light upon faces of Stone.
Never will my peace fail me.
Great and just are
Ever those who bear the light, and
Righteousness shall be thy name.

Big Zombie Deer Etiquette, lest we forget!/bump'd

It's that time of the year again!! And as a TEF oldie I can shake my cane at you wippersnappers and suggest a few things. Namely, when dealing with the BDZ, it is much appreciated if you cast your respective spells and then remove yourself from his immediate side if other deer are trying for spells. Too much crowding means spells go array and while sometimes this is fun, I think that those fellows around the big guy have the same goal in mind as you do. To put it simply, take turns, or something.

And fawns, I hold you especially accountable! The Halloween season is a great time to learn more about the forest, but even the young and naive need to learn the rules of respect Smiling!

/end short rant.

and some pretty zombie scenes for the sake of showing them off!

Endless dark

A story request written for a friend of mine, Hetrin (as she is known here).
Just thought I'd post it here, too. Enjoy!

“You cannot find a place completely devoid of Chaos. It always finds a way into even the purest places. Because, let's face it. Too much Order makes corruption all the more simple.”

The forest was quiet, the only sounds were of birds and small crickets, all singing together to form orchestral tunes of untold beauty. And in this forest, there were no predators. Only peaceful animals. Deer, mostly. Of course, these were no ordinary deer.

They walked throughout the forest, none the same as the other, for they were, in fact, magical beings. Each had an almost human-like face, accompanied by a similar level of intelligence. Their appearance could change with a simple movement of their antlers, their magic quite strong even in their young years as fawns.

One such being slowly walked on her four legs, admiring the music and the beauty of the plants around her. Her fur was mostly orange, with a brown stripe here or there. The antlers above her red face and white, bushy eyebrows were large and adorned with uncountable red flowers. In the language of her kin, she was called Hetrin.

Her head tilted to the left, looking far into the woods. She knew only too well, that it stretched out infinitely. Such was the forest. Endless and ever-beautiful.
Soon, however, as she went further and further, the singing started growing more and more quiet. She knew the path she was treading well. The road to the old ruins. But those were supposed a meeting place for other deer, so that made no sense. Something was amiss, she could feel it.

Quote:
National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.

Anyone else going to participate this year?

Seed's Poetry Corner: The Dead Who Walks

I composed this this morning while watching the Big Zombie Deer sleep. I specifically went out to see him for this, though I did pick up a pelt spell for the sake of a Halloween costume (I would have much preferred the DotD pelt, but what can you do?)

The Dead Who Walks

He scoops up the air-choking mist,
the sound of distant wolves,
the lighting of candles,
the blotting of sunlight.
They weave around him like a cape,
like the trail of deer who cling
to him, even in his sleep.

His antlers spread like the wings of a roc;
his legs rise like saplings;
his body reeks of the color of death;
but his eyes burn and glimmer behind his skull;
they shine like the eyes of a god.

((This has been a Halloween-tastic visit to Seed's Poetry Corner))

DOTD set anyone?

I'm very much in the mood, so I'll put Flyra in the Forest and letting her cast some DOTD stuff on you - or the blood crying mask. ;]
You're welcome to come up to her, and expect some spellspamming before you maybe get them. (:
This is her picto, and she'll probably wear the blood crying mask, real deer pelt and candle antlers... If you want some stuff, just join her and poke and make some options to show me I should cast you, yes?
Yay for Halloween!

Just a note about the BZD (Everyone please read?)

Can people please try and not make your deer sleep next to him if you go AFK or BRB or whatever? Because it is a bit inconsiderate for others who try and cast on him to get the Zombie set, but instead cast on the sleeping deer who are in the way.
