1. An Unknown Creature

Silvery traces around the pool of blood
A dying scream of a girl's terror
Her breaths come quick and sharp.
Her heart pounding harder and harder
As her body gives out around her.
It was there, it was what attacked her.

It's silvery saliva, dripping from it's mouth.
It wanted her, it needed her to die.
A powerful bite of jaws unknown,
All that could be seen of it,
A fur of nightly horrors and darkest dreams.
It stood above her, watching her die.

2. A Forest

Trees of darkest lights, trees of brightest green
Older and older, and younger and younger.
The gaps between the eldest and the youngest
Growing farther and farther apart.
It grows and it shrinks,
Breathing in and breathing out.

Whilst made of thousands of trees
It is one, it is only one life form
Whether it has thousands of animals
Or only one, it is still the same
Just a single feature, just one simple thing.
A forest is a being, even though there are thousands of trees.

3. Winter

Coldest days, warmth filled evenings
A whitest ground, a reddest home
Cold and warmth in equal measure
In the short dark days of winter.

Curled around the red flames
They sit, curled around each other
Laughing and talking and kissing
Love lasts longer in the winter
Inside the homes, by firelight

We kissed and danced all night

Anyone and everyone
Blending into the enviroment around me
