We want to publish a calendar for 2009 with The Endless Forest-themed artwork created by the players. We're doing this through Deviant Art. So please go to The Endless Forest Club for specifications and to suggest the pieces you like best. If there's any good works out there (or here) that haven't been posted to Deviant Art, please mention that as well and/or try to get the artist to post them. Deviant Art simply makes it very convenient to publish a calendar.

Sorry I'm reposting my pic. ^^; Those flaws kept bothering me. At any rate, the finished piece of "-who.are.you-". Yes, it seems a bit overkill to be doing this extravagant work about a deer I dont know, but hey, I wasn't able to stop!

Lol, since some people say my vexels look like paper cutouts, I wanted to experiment with making them look more like that. Plus I just want to start doing surprise gift art for people because I need something productive to fill the time, and because everyone here is made of awesome. xD And I've always liked Quamar's set, so I just went with it first. But I'm gonna be doing more random deer in this same style, so be on the lookout for yours! <3

Hoooomg I'm done -fallsover- I think I took more time on this pic than on any other XD I started it like 4 days ago...bleh. And sadly, after all that...I hate it >< I spent so muhc time on it trying to fix it but I don't know how well I accomplished it >< I'm sure YOU GUYS will like it -snicker- But my inner Ark fan does not.

haha oh god the image editing software on my dad's computer is awful, so this got trashed a bit ..

The larger stag held an air of haughtiness, confirmed by the complacent grin below his dark feathered mask. He hadn’t changed in the slightest.
The other deer said nothing, but took a step backwards. His own mask felt hot and uncomfortable against his face, and his legs were weak.
“What’s the matter now, oh brother? You’re not still a gutless coward, are you?” The smirk on his lips broadened. Again, the brown stag took no action other than averting his gaze towards the devoid and silent trees.
“Come on, then,” Masque said coldly, tilting his head to jab a sharp golden prong against the deep brown fur of the other deer’s neck, “find your voice, sweetheart.”
Fighting to keep a calm tone, the younger stag responded quietly.
“Why are you here?” With such a lack of inflection, it came out as more of a statement. Snickering, Masque relinquished the pointed ribbon-like tip from its threatening poise.
“Well darling, if you think I’ve been looking for you, then I must admit you’re sadly mistaken.”
Writingfail. This is an excerpt from a short story I have going. But it fails hard. Dx I need to stick to digital art. :B
