Those tears that have to be shed

I only cry in rain.
Not because I fear others to see my tears... ha ha, oh no.

In fact I couldn't care less what they see or think...

No... the answer is much more complicated.
Without the rain, I am unable to cry. I simply can't cry anymore. Youl probably never get to know it... that feeling...

That feeling of loosing your last tear.

It is strange in a way... oh yes...

On the one hand you suddenly feel incredible freedom. You suddenly see clear in a way. You are unable to cry from now on. Things don't affect you anymore.
You can watch someone die... It won't touch you anymore. You probably even enjoy it, he he.
You get cold. People can't touch you anymore... can't hurt you anymore...

You simply don't care... freedom... wonderful.

But... on the other hand... you also loose the ability to cry about things... that... that happened. You forget the importance of certain individuals.
It is a hard and exhausting fight everyday, to remember them, to remember who they were...
... to keep them alive with those memories. You are unable to shed those tears thet have to be shed...

For this... I need the rain.

I need something, that can replace the tears.

Those tears that have to be cried... even... if I can't cry anymore.
