The stag actually did not enjoy hearing that. He snarled. "Now, I am glad you think I have a beautifull daughter, but she does NOT, and I repeat NOT need more stags running after her. I mean it. That brown stag you fought, was one of those who thinks he can woo her." His expression is mad, serious. Though, this stag hadn't disrespected him and for that, he had won some of his approvement. "Tsk. I hope you do not try anything with her. Because you will face me." He lifted up his head, showing off his broad musculair neck and the huge antlers on top of his head. "You're warned. Though.." He raised an eyebrow at the stag. "... You seem alright. Atleast a lot more peacefull as that rude buck that stalks her. Though, you should change your method, because today you really seemed like some peeking pervert."

Skelarrow listened, feeling

Skelarrow listened, feeling horrible at first at having angered Gehirn, but made sure to let every word sink into his brain. It didn't surprise him to hear that the doe perhaps had many other suitors. "I understand, sir. No wonder he wanted to fight me. However, your daughter is just so... breathtaking! I can't think of any other words that would give her justice! Is there anything you... well, suggest? I cannot imagine a Forest without her, and I do want to try my best to win her affections as well as your approval. If you truly want me to stay away from her, I will certainly respect your wishes." He tried imagining it as if it was his daughter, and would definitely want any stag to respect his wishes.
Skelarrow shook his head at Gehirn's second set of words. He would definitely not try anything. I can assure you, sir, that I was raised to be a gentleman, and trying anything that would win nothing but your deepest disapproval as well as hers is something I promise I will not do." Hearing the larger stag's slightly kinder words made Skelarrow feel a little better, that he had not completely upset Gehirn. "Thank you very much sir. I definitely am no fan of violence, and in fact I prefer to make others laugh rather than scream."
He chuckled, but felt mortified by Gehirn's last words. "Ack! That is the last thing I would've wanted to seem like! I'll certainly never stare from behind trees again!" The stag couldn't suppress a laugh, now realizing how strange he must have indeed seemed. "I definitely shall do something different. What methods can I do that wouldn't make you upset in any way? Or, the least unsettled. I know now that watching from afar was a horrible idea. Upsetting you is certainly something I don't ever want to do," he said sincerely. He sure hoped to stay on Gehirn's good side. The father of Waarhijd was a stag Skelarrow already respected, and he did like the dancing they did together.

The stag narrowed his eyes at Skelarrow.
"You certainly seem to believe in love at first sight, don't you?" He said almost teasingly. As if something like that could never be true to the dark stag.
"Do not rush into things. The first second I feel her being uncomfortable with you, I will chase you away." He turned his head over to his daughter, whom had butted in to tell how kind she thought the stag seemed. He rolled his eyes. "You watch it, little girl, if I catch you kissing strangers again you'll hear of me." He halfly laughed. Turning back to Skelarrow. "What method I would approve of? As said, do not rush into things. Do not expect her to love you back on first sight. Handle her like you would handle a flower." That sounded so poetic out of his mouth. Pff.

He was a bit set off by the sudden playfullness the two showed. "Ehm, well. Sure, go ahead. But you're warned." He lifted his head proudly, before walking away. He wouldn't be a bother. Waarhijd knew what to do if she needed him, and he would be there in mere seconds.
