But this is what the forest feels like. So many skull-masked and real-deer-masked deer around that it's becoming almost unbearable. I purposely changed the set of my deer from real deer mask to a whistling mask just so I wouldn't be perceived as unoriginal.
Amaranthine - Yes, it totally killed it. Hahahha, nah, this was all edited... That's awesome, that you changed it. Honestly, the real deer mask isn't what bothers me the most, just the deer faces. I couldn't change S's mask now, have had him for three years already so it wouldn't feel right, sadly. I compensate for it by just letting him walk around without it a lot though, and wouldn't create a new character with another skull. Hmm, the whistle mask makes an awesome sound.
One of the advantages of having a new character is that you could change it's design and you honestly wouldn't mind at the time, I understand about it not feeling right if you changed his mask. I'll admit that she does have a deer face though, but that's mainly due to my horrible attempts at drawing human faces xD I just can't get it right most of the time, so I just made life a tad bit easier for myself.
Although I normally mind a bit if your set or appearance is unoriginal, I guess personality is what bothers me a lot about the deer I've seen. Some of their pasts are a bit unoriginal too. Most people are naturally creative so I really wish they would show it...
Only two bunnies I know of in the Forest, a crying shame :'( Agree with BB- more animals in general could be nice. I've yet to see a toad character. (Well, met a mysterious one a few times, but that's different- not on the community).
I like how you didn't outright say any complaints about originality, but rather made fun of it in general with this geniusness I do say, the skull mask epidemic is going around like wildfire, discounting the million Saosins.
Amaranthine - I understand, it's just a matter of personal taste, anyway. And well, human faces are one of the things that define and make tef unique, another reason why I prefer them... I'd hate to think that anyone finds S unoriginal or shallow because of his appearance, hm. There's really a lot more to him than that. I prefer to keep his purpose a mystery to others though. Still, no one's obliged to entertain another, people are going to wear whatever they like and play a character they like, regardless of originality. I'll respect that, 'cause I want people to respect me the same way. There's no harm in trying to set a good example though...

Saosin- I respect their freedom to create whichever character they want too, I guess something in my mind says that everyone has to be original, and that a person's ideas are theirs and theirs alone. I really do believe otherwise, but it's like a natural flaw in my personality and mind.
Nimariel- I'd love to see giant frogs and squirrels hopping around xD
