Yay! Today's my birthday!! 8D
I haven't been able to finish much anything lately, inspiration's been hiding under my bed again... :<
I've still been testing out some new things and tecniques to color my pics. It's always so much fun! Laughing out loud
This time i'm posting only 3 pics, sowwy :|

And what are you saying!? Liëka looks so pretty like that! The flowing hair, the gaze in her eyes, I love it!
Haha, aww, you and Light the Sky looks so cute there XD You really made some nice effects on this drawing.. It looks peacefull, but at the same time silly because of those masks XD

Well, i'm using Hibbary's great paper textures from DA.

I don't know how familiar you're with photoshop etc. but i'm normally creating three (or more) layers: the lowest layer is for the bg: for the texture in this case.
the second layer is for the colors and the layer above all is the layer where my scanned sketch lies.
I'll go to the sketch -layer's properties and mess around until it looks good in my eyes. In most of these pictures i've used setting "color burn", i think it creates pretty nice effect. Smiling
